Part is exactly as ordered and the only one that I found using SAE auto color coding. I thought my utility trailer used this color coding based on the wiring diagram on the battery box. Turns out RV color coding was used. Etrailer website content on the coloring differences helped me to quickly swap a few wires around to get everything working just fine.
I installed this to connect my fifth wheel camper to my truck, and has worked great. Just got back from a 3500 mile trip with no issues.

This 7 pin trailer connector wire is very easy to work with and splices nicely. Used in conjunction with a terminal box and a molded cable this made my rewire a breeze. Spend a few extra dollars and buy heat shrink or heat shrink connectors and quality cable clamps

Good watertight molding at plug and fle xible.
Would have been nicer if it came with a wiring diagram. Fortunately for me, I was also adding in a junction box...and was able to search out a diagram on the web. The cord is just what you would expect. I paid more than what [online store] wanted, because I think they are too much like [department store].

Seemed to be heavy duty and worked for a few months. Doesn’t get much use but now the wiring jacket is pulling from the plug on the truck side Allowing moisture etc. so not thrilled. It a long lead and no where near what I needed so I could used a nice stress loop and fixed brackets so it had plenty of slack but still didn’ last.
Solid construction, a little stiffer than the cable that it replaced. A bit more pliable would have been nice.
This molded 7-pin cable is well made, and making the connections to the new junction box was easy.
Great upgrade from OEM, correct utility trailer wire coding, will work flawlessly when brakes are re-installed. Chelsea D was very knowledgeable
of the product a true asset to etrailer.
Customer Service was the best I think I have had. Nick did a wonderful job. Also the shipping department also did a great job with packing the shipment. You can tell They way they packed everything and the customer service this is a company that takes pride in there work. And to find out it is a local Missouri company was just icing on the cake. Ordered 2 of the part number HM20041 but received 1 HM20046 and 1 of the correct number I ordered.
Lucky for me I have a good electrical knowledge and a good multimeter to sort the two out but would have been nice to have both trailers the same.
Great product. Nicely made and had enough extra grommets to accommodate my needs. Will be getting another for my other trailer too.
Looks like a good solid cable but not installed yet. I like the finish of the connector pins and housing, they look serious.
I don't expect any surprises but will amend this review if needed.
