Black modular steel wheel with beveled stud holes provides a secure seat and reduces lug nut retightening. Powder coat finish and straightforward style deliver dependable performance and a clean look across a wide range of trailers.
The 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern is one of the most widely used on trailers. It makes finding a match simple, whether you're replacing a damaged wheel or carrying a spare for peace of mind.
At 14 inches in diameter and 5-1/2 inches wide, this rim is a go-to size for many mid-size trailer applications. It balances strength with weight, keeping the setup practical for regular hauling.
With beveled stud holes, the wheel seats snugly against the hub. This secure fit means you're not constantly checking and retightening lug nuts after a trip - once it's on, it stays put.
Made from durable steel, this wheel handles long trips and repeated use without issue. It gives you a reliable foundation that holds up through all kinds of road conditions.
The modular cutouts and black powder coat finish add a straightforward, practical style. It's a design that works well on a variety of trailers.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Lionshead 14-inch by 5 1/2-inch black modular steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now this is a steel wheel, has the modular design, which is sturdy and corrosion-resistant. And the modular design is the one that has the round holes that go all the way around the wheel. The rust-resistant finish on this includes a black powder coat on the front and even on the back of the wheel. And if you notice, the center cap is not included.
If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get one that'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole, 'cause when you do install that center cap, it will go through this hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches. But also, if you notice right down here, the valve stem is included. It is pre-installed in the wheel.
And this wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation and the SAE J1204 specifications. The wheel is made in the USA. Now, I do want to give you some dimensions on this. We're gonna measure it. The diameter and the width.
And the diameter, when you measure it, it's always measured inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So if we take out a tape measure, and if we go straight across, inside, inside, there's your 14-inch diameter. The width is gonna be the same way. Bead seat to bead seat or inside to inside. There's your 5 1/2-inch width.
And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that bolt pattern on a wheel like this, that's an odd number of lugs, which is five. What you'll need to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whichever hole you measure too. So on this one, if we measured, it'd be 4 1/2 inches. So that's telling you that it is a 5 on 4 1/2-inch bolt pattern. This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,200 pounds.
