Features to know about

Made for Long Hauls at Real Highway Speeds: Load Range C with 81-mph Speed Rating

When you’re covering serious miles, you need a combo that can handle the heat and distance. The Provider ST205/75R14 radial tire delivers a 1,760-lb maximum load at 50 psi and carries a speed rating of M (81 mph). Its double steel belts, double polyester cords, and nylon tread-firming belt overlays fight tread separation and heat buildup for a smooth, confident highway ride. This assembly meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS standards for trailer use.

Smooth, Balanced Ride Right Out of the Box: Match Mounted and Ready

No need to schedule time at the tire shop. Each assembly is match mounted and balanced using laser-guided equipment before it leaves the factory. The process aligns the tire’s lightest spot with the wheel’s heaviest point, then fine-tunes with weights for true rotation. That means less vibration, reduced wear on suspension parts, and a trailer that tows steady from the first mile.

Built to Resist Corrosion: Triple-Layer White Acrylic Enamel Finish

Salt spray, humidity, and road grime don’t stand a chance. The steel Vesper white mod wheel goes through a zinc phosphate bath for paint adhesion, an e-coat primer layer, then a baked-on acrylic enamel topcoat that outlasts typical powder coat finishes. The result is over 1,000 hours of salt spray resistance plus an attractive, chip-resistant surface that stays cleaner longer.

Torque Retention that Keeps You Rolling: Beveled Stud Holes and Raised Center Disc

Constant retightening is a hassle you can skip. This automotive-rated center disc design features beveled, uncoated stud holes that hold clamp force better over time. The raised disc helps keep the wheel tight on the hub, reducing the risk of loosening during long hauls or heavy loads.

Close-up of beveled stud hole design on a trailer wheel showing improved torque retention engineering.

Confidence in Wet or Cold Conditions: Automotive-Grade Radial Tread Design

Unlike standard trailer tread with solid ribs, this radial has broken ribs and fine sipes that channel water away from the contact patch. That means improved traction when roads are wet, snowy, or icy. The bake-tested rubber compound holds its shape over time so you get steady grip and predictable control through every season.

Close-up comparison of Provider radial trailer tire tread versus standard tread showing sipes and open grooves for improved water drainage.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I’m a repeat customer with etrailer. As always, great service and timely communication on order status and shipping.

by:

I had accidentally ordered the wrong size tires and William was very helpful in getting them returned as well as sending me the correct tires. Very pleased with the overall quality and efficiency and pricing.

by:

Love them perfect fit

by:

I was very disappointed to see that only the outside of my wheel was painted white. When mounted on my motorcycle trailer, both sides of the wheel are clearly visible. Unbelievable that the miniscule savings afforded by skipping this step is considered justified. I am now stuck, of course, because the delay to exchange or return it would be unacceptable.

If this is indicative of the quality I should expect from etrailer, this will be my last order.

by:

All arrived in good condition. I was pleased that the wheels were balanced although it didn't appear that way on your website. These 81 mph-rated tires are being used to upgrade 8" tires on a small trailer to haul a Cushman Eagle at Interstate speeds

by:

Exactly what I needed at a fair price and on time. They had the same wheel tire combo that I'd ordered a couple years ago which is great.

by:

The tires were shipped faster than I thought. I just got here and are about to go on my trailer

by:

Good quality, fast free shipping, prompt delivery. Very happy

by:

Nice Wheel and tire combo. They look really nice on my utility trailer. Shipping was quick.

by:

Etrailer.com delivered radial trailer tires FAST.
Delivered to my door, accurate description, fully inflated, ready to put on trailer.
Great shopping experience. Thanks etrailer, and thanks Joshua B for the follow-up.

by:

Tires came as promised. I have not installed them as of yet, but i really like the look. They should look great on my restored 1994 Starcraft popup. Can't wait to get it on the road again. Hopefully the end of July.

by:

Great product selection and wonderful customer service. I especially liked the frequent updates on my order status.

by:

Fast shipping, good quality, great fit!

by:

Light, sturdy feeling, perfect pressure straight out of the box. Honestly this was my first time ordering any kind of tire online so i was a bit paranoid. But the vehicle selector narrowed down the search to this beauty. Fits like a glove on my old 2005 jayco jay series. while its too early for me to rate its longevity, i find the product feel reassuring.

by:

On the first trip with these tires and wheels, All wheel weights broke off. Will have to have these balanced again. Tires and wheels are as expected

by:

When the tires arrived, the hubs had a few stretches on them which I assume it from mounting the tires. I installed them and drove around the block. Even though it was a short drive, they seemed to be a much better upgrade than the bias ply tires I had on the trailer.

I also should add that I bought these because of the highway rating as I will be hauling my motorcycle to NY this summer.

by:

UPS driver put the tire box at my back gate and was very kind to do so. I’ve ordered 5 new tire/rims for an Alaska trip and and a spare for my cargo trailer in the past. This tire will be a spare on my new trailer.

by:

The 2 Provider Tires on Vespar rims are in excellent condition, mounted good and look in excellent condition.
They both arrived on time without damage, and customer service people were taking care of me by being upfront honest and respectfull.
Good job everyone at etrailer!

by:

Excellent looking wheels and tires! The wheels are flawless - no scratches or chips.

I put these on a small utility trailer that I expanded for hauling my kayak and jon boat. The gross weight is very light so I reduced my tire pressure to about 75psi and took the trailer for its maiden test drive this past weekend. Handles great in town. It did 75-80mph on the highway no problem.

Many thanks to Sarah S for her assistance with my order. I could not be happier right now.
Side note, I also installed the Counteract Balancing beads (CA68VR).

by:

Everything was great

by:

Great quality, fast shipping

by:

Exactly what I ordered. The wheel & tire combo arrived quickly and it appears to be great quality as well.

by:

Items were as advertised and delivered in perfect condition. What more could you ask for.

by:

Product arrived at the earliest time in the window! Only place I could get the tires at the delivered price in the time window I needed.

by:

Bought it for a Spare tire. Tire was made Oct.2024 and I got the wheel/tire May 2026. No worries….. it’s a spare tire.

  • Can a 12 inch Trailer Tire/Rim Get Replaced by a 14 inch Tire/Wheel
The section width of the narrowest 14-inch trailer tire is going to be 8.1 inches. For a wheel and tire that would fit the bolt pattern you have you would want the part # TA82MR. This tire size will also be 26.3 inches in overall height. Without knowing what tire size you have now and how much clearance you have between the frame now, it is hard for me to say for certain if you would be good. I can say that the rim/tire I referenced has a zero offset so the width of the tire would be...

  • Will Timbren Axle-Less System Allow Lower Deck Height on Trailer?
There is a Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System which will allow you to lower your deck height, though it won't give you quite the amount you are looking for. The Timbren # A35RD545E has a 4-inch drop spindle so it will lower your deck height by that much. This system comes with electric brakes and hubs with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. You would be able to use a wheel and tire combination such as the Provider # TA82MR which have 14-inch wheels and a total diameter of 26.1 inches.

Hello Rob, thanks for reaching out. I do see that you have ordered the Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" White Spoke Wheel TTWA14RWS from us in the past. Sadly, that specific white spoke rim is no longer available. We do have the exact same tire available, the Provider # TR20514. There are some rims that are very similar. • Upgrading Trailer Tires from 13 Inch Tire to a 14 Inch Tire
Sounds like you would like to upgrade your tire and wheels on your trailer. You may substitute a 14 inch tire and wheel as long as you have both the wheel well height and width clearance for it, the capacity of your trailer, and has the 5 on 4-1/2 same bolt pattern. If you are trying to substitute just the tires, the Kenda # AM1ST77 will fit rims that measure 13 x 4-1/2 inches, 13 x 5 inches, and 13 x 5-1/2 inches. Increasing to the 14 inch 205/75-14 tire like # TR20514 will fit a 14...

  • How to Get Wider Tires on Trailer With ST145R12 Tires
The 5.7 inch width of a ST145/R12 tire is by far the widest 12 inch tire, so in order to get a wider tire you will need to upgrade to a ST175/80R13 tire, which measures 7 inches wide. This means you will also need new, 13 inch wheels for the tires to fit. Assuming you have the clearance and you have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern (if you aren't sure you can use the guide/template I linked below), you simply need to choose the option with the correct load capacity, either C or D: - Load Range...

  • Will a ST205/75R14 Replace a ST175/80R13 Trailer Tire
A ST205/75R14 sized wheel and tire like the part # TA82MR will eat up about an inch of vertical fender clearance and will be 30 mm wider than your current setup. It sounds like you have plenty of clearance though and this wouldn't be an issue. Since both wheels have the same bolt pattern the new wheel would also bolt right up in place of the old one, and as long as your wheels attach with lug nuts instead of wheel bolts the center pilot hole diameter won't really matter.

  • Recommendation to Upgrade to Larger Size From 175/80R13 Tires on Trailer
If you want to upgrade your trailer tires both in terms of load capacity and size, your best option is to go with a 14 inch tire which would require you to replace not just your tires but also your wheels. To do this, I recommend looking at an ST205/75-14 size tire. This tire size will have an overall diameter of 26.3 inches and a width of 8.1 inches. This is compared to the 24 inch diameter and 6.9 inch width on your current 175/80R13 tires. This means that the top of the new tire will...

For that Trailer Wheel Center Cap, Chrome, 3.19" Pilot Size # 319EZ will be the best fit. The outside diameter will be 3.4375 inches so it will fit the 3.27 inch hole and give you the look you are seeking. The Taskmaster ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # TR20514 is my recommendation as a replacement. You will need to replace all of your tires so they match size and style. This tire has a load rating of up to 1760 at 50 psi and can handle speeds of up to 81 mph. These radial tires are excellent for highway use as they have more flex than a bias tire. The...

  • Can Boat Trailer go From 13 inch Wheel and Tire to 14 inch to Increase Weight and Speed Rating
Generally speaking you will want to have 3 inches from the top of your tire to the fender of your trailer to accommodate for suspension travel. Having a little more wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't recommend any less than 3 inches. It looks like you have a bit of room to grow in the picture you sent in. Also looks like you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Your current tire size of ST175/80D13 has an overall diameter of 24.1 inches. Going to a 205/75-14 tire will change the overall diameter...

To go from a 15 inch trailer wheel to a 14 inch trailer wheel would only require you to match up the bolt pattern of what you currently have with what you would like to install. You will first need to determine what bolt pattern you have on your wheel. I attached a link to a help article that details how to do this. For example, if you had the Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" Wheel # TA82MR, which has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and measures 26.1" in total diameter and 8" wide, you could switch to the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM32418DX...
