When you’re dealing with heavy trailer loads, centering matters. This hub-piloted wheel design centers on the hub rather than the lugs for precise alignment and secure mounting. It’s designed for use with flange nuts (sold separately) and uses 5/8"-18 studs on an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern. The mounting surface sits just -0.19" off center for balanced backspacing that keeps weight where it should be.
The Provider radial is built to go the distance. It has a 16/32" tread depth with wear bars that make it easy to see when it’s time for replacement. The tread is regroovable for additional mileage where allowed by law, giving you more life out of every tire. Each assembly is bake tested to ensure the rubber compound holds up over time, providing dependable traction and smooth performance on the road.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I haven't driven this tire yet, just bought it as a spare. It appears very well made, it came in excellent condition, not even scratches on the rim from transit. The price was right for buying as a spare. I feel a lot better about taking my trailer on long trips fully loaded having a spare, especially with how the roads are lately!
The rims are good but I'd definitely recommend buying Sailun trailer tires over these all day long so if you can buy just the rim itself and buy a Sailun tire it's definitely the best way to go even if you have to spend a little more money.

Tire arrived perfect and in timely matter. This was an experiment as i was replacing very old 16.5 dually rims with 8.75-16.5 D rated tires on an equipment trailer with 10k axles and etrailer wasn’t sure it would work. After measuring, double checking it appeared this 17.5 rim and tire be a match, fit like a glove and used the same flange nuts. Be ordering 3 more tires soon.
I have owned these for a year. I got them because I was constantly running my trailer at capacity and experiencing blowouts on lesser tires and wheels. While upgrading to these wheels and tires was relatively expensive, and required new hubs also, I have not had a blowout since, so theoretically, this is going to save me money in the long run. I run a PJ gooseneck tandem axle with singles and I don't think that without these wheels and tires singles are a good idea - I would have to upgrade to duals. Then, I would be on the hook for commercial DL etc. Overall, great value with these for sure, in light of that.
Purchased to use as replacements on my wood chipper and we have been extremely pleased. Great looking rim and a smooth riding tire. I particularly appreciate that they can endure the abuse of hopping over curbs on a daily basis to access our worksites.

After one year of my purchase I am super happy and satisfied. I tow a pretty heavy load on my trailer almost every day and the tires look exactly the same after 1 year. Basically it was my only choice for the size I needed. Although on the surface it seems just fine… does everything need to come from China?? I would prefer to source from anywhere but there? Preferably USA!
The tire came only 3 days after I ordered it & it was as advertised. It would have been nice if UPS WOULD have put their heavy stickers on the wrap that came from the factory. It took a lot to remove all of the stickers off the tire
