Ready for the road, this pre-mounted tire and wheel combo handles your gear with confidence. Dual steel wheel resists rust, and the low-profile tire helps boost fuel efficiency.
This combo comes pre-mounted and aired up, so it's ready to install right out of the box. Whether you're replacing a worn-out setup or outfitting a new trailer, you'll save time and skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation.
This Load Range E tire supports up to 3,100 lbs when used in dual-wheel positions, making it ideal for heavy-duty trailers and high-capacity cargo. Reinforced construction offers the stability and durability you need under substantial weight.
This 8-lug pattern is a match for dually setups and other heavy-duty trailers, including gooseneck and flatbed rigs. Be sure your hub matches the 8 on 6-1/2 layout for a safe and secure fit.
The KR53 tread is optimized for road control and trailer stability. Low rolling resistance helps maintain fuel efficiency and steady tracking on long-distance hauls.
Radial construction helps reduce heat buildup and extend tread life. The dual-style steel wheel resists corrosion and is offset for proper spacing in tandem use. Rated to handle up to 3,960 lbs per wheel.
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, it gets replaced - simple as that. It's just one more way Kenda helps you haul with confidence.
1-Year on tire
Limited 2-year on wheel
If the tire fails under normal use in the first year, Kenda will replace it. That's confidence you can count on, whether you're heading to the jobsite or the campsite.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Kenda Karrier KR53. It's an ST235/80R16 radial tire with wheel, and it's a 16-inch for dual and it's a steel wheel with black finish. It's also featuring an 8 on 6 1/2 inch lug pattern. So folks, this is a trailer-ready tire and wheel combo.
It's been pre-mounted onto the 16-inch wheel. Again, it's a dual steel wheel with an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. The tire is a Load Range E and that can support up to 3,100 pounds at 85-PSI when used in a dual-wheel configuration. Now, this 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern fits heavy-duty, utility, gooseneck and dually trailer setups. And you can be confident that this is gonna handle all your needs because the Kenda KR53 tread delivers stable tracking and great road grip.
And it's also going to make sure that whether it's snow, rain, mud, whatever, it's gonna handle everything, give you great traction. Now this is gonna run cooler. It's a long-lasting performance tire. The radial construction reduces heat buildup and promotes even wear and tear. And looking at the backside of the wheel, the wheel capacity itself is rated at 3,860 pounds.
The pilot hole diameter, if you need center caps and stuff, is 4.9 inches. Now this does also feature a negative 1/2 inch offset for proper spacing for using in tandem setups. Again, it's a Load Range E or a 10-ply tire. And again, the max low-capacity because it's a dual setup, is 3,100 pounds at 85 PSI. Folks, that will wrap it up for our quick look together at this Kenda Karrier KF53 wheel and tire combo.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
