This Westlake ST205/75R14 tire-and-wheel assembly is built to handle long hauls and full loads with confidence. The radial tire is Load Range D with an 8-ply rating and carries 2,040 lbs at 65 psi. It’s speed rated L for 75 mph and meets DOT and FMVSS specs, so you can take on real highway miles without second-guessing your setup.

This combo uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, a 3.19" pilot diameter, and a 0 offset for simple fitment. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20. The tire measures 26.1" in outer diameter and 8" in section width with a tread depth of 10/32". It’s a matched assembly designed to mount up easily and deliver dependable performance from day one.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Westlake ST 205/75R14 Radial trailer tire, in a load range D and it's mounted on this 14 inch black Margay aluminum wheel with a 5 on 4 and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assembly is ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. We'll start with the wheel. The wheel is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof.
And this is the Margay series, which is a five spoke design. You can see it has a black, took color to it with a machine face on the edge of the spokes and then even around on the outer lip. They do put an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. A few dimensions on this, the diameter, which is always measured inside the inside so on the wheel is 14 inches. The width on just the wheel by itself is five inches wide.
Now this wheel does have a bolt pattern that's a five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an odd number of lugs like this wheel, what you want to do is pick any one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you're gonna measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure it from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to. So on this one it'll measure four and a half inches. So it's a five lug, four and a half inch bolt pattern.
This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20. The weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 2,200 pounds. If you notice there is not a center cap in this. It is not included. We do sell those separately if you prefer to have one.
What you do wanna make sure is the center cap that you purchased, we'll have the same diameter as the pilot hole here on the wheel, 'cause your center cap will install from the back here when you put it in here. So the pilot hole diameter is 3.19 inches. So you just wanna make sure to get a center cap with that diameter. Now the tire on this is a Westlake radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester plys, has a nylon tread firming belt overlay around the tire, helps prevent tread separation. And it is a radial ply tire. It's great for highway use. It is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer tire, has the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. The tire size, which will be stamped on the Sidewall ST for Special Trailer 205 75R14 DR lets you know that there's a radial tire. Section width on this, it's gonna be right at eight inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the very top when it's inflated, it's 26.1. This tire is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 2040 pounds at 65 PSI. Now I do wanna mention that the trailer tires now come through with speed ratings on them 'em, and they designated on the sidewall with a letter designation. So basically if you go right over the size we just went over, right after it, you'll see two numbers for the load index and then the letter L speed rating L will mean this has a 75 mile per hour speed rating. Now this assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. And last thing is they offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years. Gives you a flat tire service which is available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. I bought this as a spare tire and wheel for my boat trailer. The wheel matches perfectly with the OEM’s that came on the trailer. I was a little surprised that these arrived with no protection at all (boxing or something)...would have felt better sooner about these tires but I had to wash them to ensure no issues..did find a scratch on back of one wheel (looks like from mounting)...was hoping to get better manufacturing dates (2 from Mar 2025, 2 from July 2025)... as long as warranty starts from arrival date they should be ok....

I haven't put my new wheels on the road yet but I was very impressed with the quick service I received and the appearance of the new wheels.
Arrived quickly and packed well. Very happy with these so far. One note to make is that you will need a thin walled socket to get these on with the shape of wheel around the lug nuts. An impact socket will not work. Otherwise very nice and great looking!
