Rough roads can make your trailer shake, rattle, and bounce. This suspension system replaces leaf springs with Aeon progressive-rate rubber springs that soak up road shock and adjust stiffness as weight increases. Whether the trailer is empty or fully loaded, the springs deliver a smooth, steady ride and keep it level over uneven ground.
When one side of the trailer hits a bump, the pivoting arms help the tires stay planted. They move with the terrain so the trailer stays level, reducing sway and vibration. The suspension’s fitted rubber bushings keep it fully engaged at all times so the ride stays stable and the tires maintain traction.
This system is made for single-axle trailers with a 3" diameter axle and supports up to 5,000 lbs. The heavy-duty steel construction with a durable powder coat finish resists rust and road wear. It’s designed to carry weight confidently while keeping the trailer’s movement smooth and predictable.
Metal-on-metal noise is replaced by the quiet flex of rubber. The built-in bushings and springs cut down on squeaks and clunks while staying virtually maintenance-free. There are no leaf packs to grease or align—just simple, reliable motion that stays quiet mile after mile.
Installation can be done by bolting or welding, depending on your setup. It requires a 2" x 2" hollow steel crossmember with 1/4" wall thickness (not included) and Grade-5, 5/8" bolts for bolt-on mounting. The included axle seats weld directly to the axle beam so everything ties together into a solid, lasting suspension mount.

Installation went well. Not yet used for a heavy load. Switched from leaf spring suspension and empty doesn't seem to bounce any less than prior to the switch. Moderate load does show some improvement.
Had some problems with missing parts, but customer service was on the ball. got rest of parts 4 days later.. So to say customer was very helpful is an understatement. Installment was easy. Instructions were helpful. etrailer has my vote....
I like the product. But the instructions aren’t the best one part of the instructions tell you to bolt the cross member on then when you look at the picture they tell you to weld it. If you look at your videos they showed a bracket on the front of the hanger that you can bolt it on. To weld it on you have to be careful not to burn the rubber part of the suspension that is right where they want you to weld it.
Ok, probably overkill and certainly makes for a premium utility trailer. But compared to other trailers, there’s zero rattling and bouncing around. Install went better than expected too. Did have to weld quick to keep the heat down since the rubbers are right on the other side!
Probably the best upgrade I will ever do to our Roof Top Tent trailer. Rides absolutely amazing. I’ll never run leaf springs again.
We used this on an aluminum utility trailer that originally had a leaf spring setup. Easy to install, we just flipped the trailer upside down...

My worries about my trailer have been removed. I am very happy with the suspension system and would recommend these suspension systems.
It is quiet, but… Since they are both mounted to a solid axle it doesn’t provide any sway from side to side. It is very bouncy on uneven side to side bumps and doesn’t track well. I’m sure this works well in a spindle configuration when spindles/wheels are independent. I ordered new leaf springs to remove them. Quite disappointed.
I have had both leaf suspensions and torsion suspensions on pull behind campers. I decided to try these when I had to replace my torsion axles. The Timbrens are without a doubt the best suspension I have ever used. The trailer rides much smoother as it creates an independent suspension for each wheel. The rubber pad absorption design adds to the smoothness. The camper is also much more stable when towing and I don,t end up with stuff all over the floor of the camper from a rough ride. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this suspension system.
I’m really torn about these. On the one hand, they are silent and tow really really well. Until you hit a bump. So far, our microwave broke, the hood on our range came loose, and the Aeon (sp?) dampeners should ideally be taller to prevent the axle from hitting the frame when a pothole is hit. I have contacted the manufacturer and they have been super supportive and sent me 5k springs, but it didn’t fix the bottoming out issue. I am at a loss as to what to do next. So am I happy? Not really. Did it solve my issue? Kinda. What would make it perfect is a taller spring or some way to adjust the articulating arms so they are so closed (like scissors) and give the axle a reason to hit the frame. That jarring caused the microwave to break and the hood to come loose. We didn’t have these issues with the leaf springs.
