This TST tire pressure monitoring system monitors the pressure and temperature level of the tires on your RV, motorhome, 5th wheel, motor coach, or trailer. The system utilizes sensors that attach to the valve stems of your tires. When a tire sensor detects an anomaly, it will wirelessly transmit an alert to the included digital color monitor. Your monitor will emit flashing lights and an audible alert to notify you of an issue, and it will display details regarding the anomaly. A booster is included to strengthen and amplify the signal that the sensors are sending to the display monitor.

Initial Setup

The TST TPMS is easy to set up and includes all mounting hardware and tools for installation. First, assign the tire sensor positions through the monitor's Learning Mode. Label each sensor with the corresponding numbering code sticker so that you know which sensor is programmed to which tire position. When you are setting up the sensors make sure the one you are programming is at least 2' away from the other sensors. Otherwise the other sensors will interfere with the sensor you are attempting to program. Once the tire sensors have been recognized by the monitor, attach them to the valve stems of your vehicle's tires. Next, install the booster and connect it to a 12-volt power source on your vehicle or trailer.

Use the included suction cup holder to mount the color monitor on your windshield so you can monitor your tires while you drive. You can also use the included rubber, non-slip cradle mount to set the monitor on your dashboard.

TST Color Monitor Display

Current Tire Selection - The tire icons indicate the position of your tires. A solid tire icon indicates that tire is programmed into your current setup. A blinking tire icon indicates that tire is experiencing an anomaly.
Sensor Low Battery Alert - This displays when one of the sensor's batteries is low. The corresponding tire light will also flash to indicate which sensor's battery is affected.
Display Battery Level Indicator - Shows the charged level of the internal battery. When this icon shows one bar it is recommended to charge the display as soon as possible. It takes approximately 4 hours for the battery to fully charge.
Out Of Parameter Alert - This icon will flash during a high or low pressure alert, a high temperature alert, or a fast leak alert. In conjunction with this flashing light, the affected tire light will flash, the HI or LO PRESSURE, HI TEMP, or FAST LEAK indicators will light up, and an audible alert will sound.
Display Alerts - These icons, along with the specific tire icon, will light up to indicate HI or LO PRESSURE, HI TEMP, or FAST LEAK. The bottom row indicates which programming mode you are in.
Red LED Indicator - Lights up during an alert.
Antenna - The multidirectional antenna helps eliminate electronic interference when paired with the signal booster.
Temperature Indicator - Displays the current temperature of the selected tire in Fahrenheit or Celsius. This will also display your selected high temperature parameter during programming.
Tire Pressure Indicator - Displays the current tire pressure of the selected tire. This will also display your selected high and low pressure parameters during programming.
Power Switch - Lets you turn the monitor on and off.
Charging Port - Plug the included USB cable into this port to charge the monitor. The side power switch will not turn off the display when constant power is applied to the unit.
Backlight and Motion Detector - The backlight turns on when the vehicle is in motion, and there is little ambient light. It will sense periods of inaction and the display will "go to sleep" until the vehicle resumes motion.

TST Color Monitor Function Buttons

GO Button - Press the GO button to tell the system where to "go". When pairing the sensors, once you have the tire icon flashing that you want to code, hit the GO button to tell it to get its unique code. If you only want to code a trailer, press the GO button to tell it to go to the trailer. When moving from axle to axle to set your warning pressures, hit the GO button to go to the next axle or next trailer.
SET Button - Press the SET button to program your warning parameters, or to go into coding and set your configurations. This button locks in all specific settings.
BACK Button - Press the BACK button to leave programming, or take the system back to the previous screen. If you need to remove a sensor code, use this button in the coding section to take the sensor position back to the factory settings.
+ Button - Press the + button to increase the temperature and pressure settings from the factory defaults. You can also scroll forward through your tires. Press the + button in conjunction with the GO button to drop your towing vehicle from a setting and add it back in.
- Button - Press the - button to decrease the temperature and pressure settings from the factory defaults. You can also scroll backward through your tires. Press the - button in conjunction with the GO button to drop your towed vehicle from a setting and add it back in.

Multiple Wheel Layouts

You can program multiple layouts into the monitor, and you can scroll through each setup on the screen. This system can support up to 4 tire layouts and up to 115 tires total. Make sure to set your high and low pressure alarms for each layout that you are using. Some examples of popular layouts are shown above.

Tire Sensor Installation

Place the included wrench around the sensor. You must use the wrench to install or remove the sensor from your tire's valve stem.
Screw the sensor onto the valve stem. Tighten the sensor until the air stops leaking and the sensor bottoms out on the valve stem. Give it a slight twist to fully seat the sensor while being careful not to over-tighten

Note: To inflate or deflate a tire you must remove the sensor.

Booster

The booster - or repeater - amplifies the signal strength that the sensors send to the monitor. Booster installation requires a 12-volt power source. It is waterproof and can be mounted inside or outside your vehicle with the included mounting hardware. On a trailer, you can mount it in the battery box in front of the propane bottles. On a 5th wheel, you can install it in the house battery bay underneath the overhang. You will want to place it below the bank of mirrors so they don't bounce the signal back and cause the system to malfunction. On coaches with towed vehicles, you can install it in the back battery bay. The power draw is so minimal that you can leave the booster installed without running the battery down. If you decide to unhook it for storage remember to reconnect when you are ready to hit the road. A red light on the repeater indicates that the unit is connected to power and operating correctly. Repeater installation is required for warranty compliance.

So far it is working good. I had to find another video on line that explained the set up process better. Also there isn't much of a cable for the wireless booster to reach the battery and mounting area.

The TST 507 TPMS works flawlessly. In the year of ownership, it saved me from an expensive blowout. Unbeknownst to me, I picked up a very large 1/2"x 4" bolt in the passenger side rear tire of my 39' Montana trailer. The TST-507 system alerted me to the loss of air pressure in that specific tire, and I was able to avoid a complete blowout or worse the tire delaminating while at highway speeds. I would never consider towing a trailer without the TST system.

As usual etrailer came through with EXCELLENT customer service. I ordered this TPMS system on Sunday Aug 29th after receiving a different TPMS system that was meant for metal valve stems, I have rubber valve stems. My mistake for ordering the wrong product. George C reviewed my order and helped push this order through in an expedited manner to get me the correct system 2 days later. Overall the instructions and ease of set up for this product is very good. I had to do some fine tuning after my initial set up and I will do some additional fine tuning to a couple of parameters before our next trip in a few weeks. We used this system on our Labor Day weekend trip and I was at ease the whole time, knowing that I should have advance warning of an impending tire failure with this system on our trailer. I mounted the repeater underneath the nose overhang behind the battery box mount and the suction cup to the lower left corner of the windshield, so as not to impair my field of vision out of the windshield. One thing I did add to this after we got back home was, I ordered from TST Truck Systems, and add on display visor that slips over the top and sides of the display to hopefully shade the display from some of the sunlight , making it a bit easier to see in the daylight.

I purchased the TST system for our Airstream travel trailer after receiving several recommendations from other owners. After a year of use I’m very happy I took their advice. The system is very easy to set up and the cap sensors are not difficult to remove when adjusting air pressure. In fact, when you remove one the display’s alarm goes off within a second or two which is a good test of a fast leak. I did install the signal booster by connecting it to the Airstream’s running lights so I never have to worry about it. I used Velcro to hold the display on our RAM’s dash. Highly recommend the TST system and eTrailer as the vendor.

This is one of those items that is a must have. It's easy to install and setup. I also watched the product video and the spokesman was very detailed on programming. I would recommend watching it. I installed the repeater in the battery compartment located in the front of my trailer. It does not have a switch but you can unplug the inline fuse if your trailer is going to sit for some time. I trimmed the included rubber monitor support to fit the top dash tray for my Colorado.

Love my TST 507 TPMS to see in real time what's going on with my camper tires. The problem is one of the tire sensors would not pair. I entered the code manually and it worked. We leave for vacation (about a week after buying the TST 507 TPMS) the same sensor stops working. The bottom line is 700 plus miles from home I have to replace the battery in that problem sensor. That is not good.

Would not travel without a TPMS system. We were southbound through Atlanta during a workweek pulling our 30’ TT, wife was driving, and suddenly the TPMS alarm went off. Rapid loss of pressure in one of the tires. We quickly found an off ramp and a safe place to change the tire and with the help of our tire changing ramp, we had the tire changed and was on our way in no time.

We own/operate a small independent RV repair business…so we’ve definitely got some familiarity with RV brands. This TST507 is the second set we’ve purchased because the first one has been so reliable…the first for 38ft 5th wheel and now for a 27ft pull trailer. The first one has worked perfectly (purch in 2020) throughout and saved us from a potential tire blow out disaster on the 5th wheel. And when we had a minor unexpected issue with one of the tire sensors, TST customer service was most accommodating to replace it. Highly recommend this tire sensor set and TST.

I'm not a "gadget freak" and actually trying to simplify my life at this point, but I'm almost ecstatic about how well this system works! After buying my first pick-up truck at age 60, we were finally able to take our 24' travel trailer on out-of-state trips where traversing multiple hills/mountains would be called for. After having been saved by the vehicle's TPMS when returning from a local camping trip last summer after one our 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee's new tires was punctured by a metal shard, I'd made a firm decision to buy a system to monitor the trailer tire pressure given the severe damage (or worse!) that would likely occur if a trailer tire were to fail while traveling at interstate highway speeds. I chose this particular system after researching various systems as well as evaluating numerous customer reviews. After studying the manual which I'd downloaded before ordering it, I was able to quickly get it set up and "installed" after it was received. Put simply, I literally couldn't be more pleased with how well it works. I opted to use the silicone rubber stand to position the display/control unit in the center dash-top well of our new F250 crew cab diesel, as I already had an Escort 360 and Garmin Nuvi hanging out on the windshield. The receiver was able to consistently receive the transmissions from each of the cap sensors without having to use the repeater, and the display was clearly visible even when I was wearing sunglasses during midday driving under a cloudless sky. I've always prided myself in monitoring my vehicle's dash gauges while driving to help ensure that I'll at least have a chance to preempt an unnecessarily disastrous situation from occurring, so the ability to accurately monitor the pressure and temperature of all four trailer tires without posing an undue distraction while driving is arguably some of the best insurance that I could buy. Of note is that I opted to purchase a system with cap sensors instead of flow-through sensors since the cap sensors have much less mass (i.e. they're much lighter) and therefore more suitable for use on wheel rims with rubber valve stems.

This TPMS system is still working great, and I havent even had to replace the batteries in the cap sensors yet. I decided to recharge the battery in the control unit for an upcoming trip, so I took the control unit upstairs in our house and plugged it into a 12 volt power supply. A short time later when I checked on it I was amazed to see that it was displaying the outputs from 3 of the cap sensors on the trailer thats parked out in our back yard! Without a doubt this is a system that I strongly recommend to anyone who owns a travel trailer.

This is my second TST system, and I would not tow without it.
Works very well on my dual axle 25’ boat trailer- no issues with pairing. Can confirm the sensors are waterproof, at least the non-flowthrough ones. Love the physical “on/off” button on the display. Battery in the display lasts for a long time and charges quickly. Sensor batteries still good at 1 year, expect they will last several years as with my last system. Super easy to set up and adjust alarm limits, etc.

Only reason not 5 stars is the display is way too fragile - screen cracks easily (drop from dash to console). Also the color display is often difficult to read in daylight. The grey scale option might be better.

This new system is easier to use but the prior display version was far more resistant to damage, did not need a mount, and was easier to read.

Update 2nd yr: sensors the ones without user replaceable batteries are still good. I might try regular sensors next time, they all have same waterproof rating. Next time I might be interested in a different brand system altogether with better screen visibility, screen durability, and price.

We use these TST TPMS sensors and booster on our horse trailers, utility trailers, and live in trailers. They add a great degree of safety and if you have ever towed trailers and have had good tires fail due to low pressure and/or heat, you don't want to leave home without them. I am an ASE certified mechanic and my wife raises horses. We put many miles on our trailers and although I do all my own tire replacements, nails and other road debris find a way to puncture otherwise healthy tires. The problem with a trailer unlike your tow vehicle which has TPMS installed, is that trailers aren't required to have TPMS as yet. One doesn't know there is a problem until a tire has failed sometimes taking the tandem tire with it. Why would you not want to protect these wonderful animals and the traveling public at large by knowing what condition your tires are in on the trailers. The simplicity of the valve stem units is great and the internal band types are even better but of course requires dismounting and remounting/balancing the wheel assembly. My wife has been a victim of tire failure with horses aboard in the middle of summer and it's no picnic. Luckily there was no incident other than the normal pain in the butt misfortune. I highly recommend these types of products and having peace of mind on the highway is worth many times the cost of the system which I think is very reasonable for what the system does for safety. To go to the extreme, I carry a spare plus another spare should one tire take out another. Again, cheap insurance. etrailer has been great to deal with and I will continue to do business with this company as they are very customer oriented which is not the case with many companies these days.

We've had this TPMS on our Airstream for a year. It was simple to hook up, and provided great piece of mind on our trip from Indiana to Colorado. It's amazing how many RV's you see pulled off to the side of the road on these long trips.

We didn't notice any bending of the stems on our wheels over a 3000 mile trip. Display was accurate when checked against our tire gage. You'll be surprised how much pressure gain you can see leaving a site on a cold morning and driving into the heat of the day. Only drawback on this product is a somewhat dated display. Highly recommend!

Follow up after a year. The TST system has protected us over 5000 miles. Head unit easily finds the sensors, and we get great piece of mind knowing where were at with pressure and temps. The system even caught a slow leak long before it could have turned into a mess. We have a 25 ft Airstream, so a tire blowout could be very damaging. Changed batteries on the sensors when we got our RV out of storage last week- thats the only maintenance weve had to do. Highly recommend the TST TPMS.

Two huge positives. One, very accurate and matches my pressure gauge perfectly. The other positive, adds a lot of comfort and ease going down the road knowing what the pressure is without having to stop and check the tires. One negative but is minor. Twice I've had a false alarm, one time stating the tire was extremely overheated, and another time saying the tire only had 8 lb of pressure when it had the intended amount. Solution was simple, pull over, check the tire, and restart the system. One time I unscrewed the sensor, and then screwed it back, problem solved. The other time I simply unplugged the monitor from inside the cabin, plugged it back, and again problem solved. I would much rather stop and pause my trip for a false reading, than a tire change in a very difficult area.

After a year of using the TST tire pressure monitoring system I must say it is one of the best investments and upgrades I’ve ever made. After experiencing a blowout on my 5th wheel camper (which I experienced even though I always manually looked over and checked the pressure of my camper tires at every stop), having this tire pressure and tire temperature monitoring system gives me a very secure piece of mind while traveling down the highway. I know that nothing is 100%, and I could still have a catastrophic tire failure, but having this system eliminates 99% of the worry when you don’t have a tire monitoring system. It’s well worth the money spent for the safety and piece of mind it brings.

They Thomas, I'd be glad to help you pick out which tire pressure monitor system would be better for you. So generally what we have found is that the TST system part # TST-507-RV-4-C is a bit more rugged and will withstand a little more abuse whereas the Tireminder part # TM89FR has the advantage of being a little more user friendly. Hey Michael, this is a great question but the difference between the TST TPMS part # TST44VR and the part # TST-507-RV-4-C is just the display. The part # TST-507-RV-4-C is a display with buttons along the side of it it to make changes whereas the part # TST44VR has a touchscreen. This is why it's more expensive. As far as performance goes they both will work great with same range but it comes down to which display/controls you prefer.

The red light on the repeater tells me it's getting power, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's talking to the monitor. I'd replace the batteries in the monitor first, then power it completely off and back on. Welcome back Chris! When setting up TPMS minimum and maximum pressure warnings, I use the 20-20 rule. That's 20% lower than the cold PSI for the minimum and 20% higher than the cold PSI for the maximum. So in your case, I would set 88 psi for the minimum and 132 psi for the maximum in your case. There are other opinions with this kind of thing, of course, but I have found this to be a pretty foolproof way to do it. What kind of trailer are you towing?

The # TST-507-RV-S4 sensors have a battery life of 12-18 months so it sounds like it might be time to replace the sensor if it is no longer detected. They are also sold in pairs # TST-507-RV-S2. If it is an actual internal sensor like # TST-507-INT-S1 the battery life can last up to 4 years depending on use so it is less likely that the battery gave out unless it is old compared to the other sensors....

Typically this is enough range for people and we haven't had any issues that required a second repeater so what I would recommend is trying it with the one included repeater and seeing how it performs. They informed me that the band is made of stainless steel and if installed properly will outlast the life span of the battery which is 4-5 years.
