Upgrade from dull incandescent lights to bright, efficient LEDs. This mini side marker and clearance light uses 3 amber LEDs behind a clear lens to deliver stronger visibility while drawing only 0.06 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than bulbs, so you don’t have to worry about replacements or burned-out filaments. It’s a dependable, low-power option that keeps your trailer visible without taxing your electrical system.
If your trailer ever sees mud, rain, or even full submersion, this light can handle it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit that keeps moisture out and protects the LEDs and circuit board. Whether you’re hauling through storms or backing down a ramp, this sealed design prevents corrosion and water damage for long-term reliability.
Visibility from all angles is key for safe towing. This PC-rated light spreads light 90 degrees from each side of its centerline for a full 180 degrees of coverage. That wide beam makes it visible from the front, rear, and sides when properly mounted—working as both a clearance light and a side marker light to help others see your trailer’s position in traffic or at night.
Tight mounting spots aren’t an issue with this compact 2-1/2" long by 1-1/8" tall oblong light. It surface mounts flat against your trailer using standard mounting hardware (not included) and needs only a small wiring hole. The single-wire design grounds through the mounting hardware, keeping the setup clean and minimal whether you mount it vertically or horizontally.
This light’s polycarbonate lens and housing stand up to impacts, UV exposure, and heavy use without cracking or fading. With a lifetime warranty on the LEDs, it’s built for years of service on any trailer that demands dependable lighting day after day.

Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Optronics Mini Side Marker and Clearance Light. This has a clear lens with amber LEDs. Now this is a nice mini LED trailer light, which will function as a clearance and side marker light when it's properly mounted. It does use LEDs, which make great replacements for incandescent lights, the LEDs will last 50 times longer, they're more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output.
And of course there's no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments that'll break, and they do give you a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. You can see those LEDs are a nice durable, polycarbonate housing and lens. You can see it has a clear lens over amber LEDs. And there are three LEDs in there. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and it is designed to surface mount to your trailer.See, there's two holes, one on each end.
Now the hardware to install this is not included and it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. It does use a two wire pigtail plug for your connection. And this is DOT, Department of Transportation compliant. It is PC rated.Few specs on this. We're going to measure for you the overall length from one end to the other.
It's right at 2 1/2 inches long. The height of it at the widest point in the middle is going to be 1 1/8 inches tall. And the thickness of it has right about 5/8 of an inch thick. Now the distance between the mounting holes center to center is 1 3/4 inches. So what we're going to do is go ahead and plug this into some, I've got a two pin plug here and plug it into.
And once you got it plugged in, go ahead and turn on our power and you'll be able to see there's your three amber LEDs. Go ahead and turn off the overhead light. Give you a good idea of how bright the light is. Now go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. And we're going to turn off our power. But that should do it for the review on this Optronics Mini Side Marker and Clearance Light with the clear lens and the amber LEDs..

exact replacement for my vexus trailer
These guys are good,we build a few trailers in our shop, & these guys have the inventory, you get it fast & you can get them on the phone, we need more outfits like this to do business with! Thanks Guy's--
The product has apparently changes. The part number is the same as what I purchased in the past but these are NOT the same marker light, they are cheap knock-offs. Not even close to the same light. See attached picture, the one on the left is what this part number used to be, the one on the right is the cheap replacement that was sent. Will be returning. It’s too bad I can no longer get the same quality light to match the others on my trailer.
Exactly what I ordered and expected with fast shipping!
easy to install and works great
So far these led flush mount lights are working great. They're bright and a refreshing update over old incondesant lights. I got these to put on an older camper I purshased. From the photos you can see what was on the camper and I what I upgraded to. The old lights were dull and could barely tell they were lit. These lights bring a modern day update to an 1989 camper. Besides the product being good the shipping was fast and free. And I also like that on etrailers site when your package is in shipment they have a map of the US showing where your package is.
This side marker light is a replacement to an existing one. It is an exact replacement. The new light is spot on to the one I installed about 4 years ago. Good quality. It see’s salt water continuously.
Very strong led light. And very multi purpose. Built a toy hauling trailer for a friend that need some extra light for loading up after dark, and liked to be able to keep a eye on his load after dark. These worked out great, also used some to light up some quads. Very bright for as small as they are. Oh and there are 26 lights on the trailer. Lol no problems with any of them.
Perfect Replacement for marker lights on my 2016 Backtrack trialer for my Xpress boat.
A couple of years ago, I converted a single jet-ski trailer to a kayak trailer to hold my two kayaks, and installed new LED stop/turn/brake lights and clearance lights from etrailer.com. The lights worked great, and I used the trailer for a couple of years before I realized that I was missing a light for the license plate! I'm surprised I never got pulled over by the police! etrailer.com came to my rescue again with this great LPL31CB license plate light. It's very bright and really lights up the plate and the ground around the back of my trailer. Recently I added three more small red clearance lights at the back of my trailer, so the tailgaters and crazy drivers have no excuse about seeing my trailer! See the pictures! etrailer.com has great products, great service, and fast shipping!
Perfect fit replacement. Delivered quickly at a great price. Easy install and safely back on the road.
I purchased this light to replace a cargo trailer light. It isn't a exact match but pretty close. It gets the job done and unless you know the light is different no one will know. Light looks the same as the original.
LED license plate light really lights things up
The replacement lights are exactly the same as original. Other online offerings were similar but would have required modification. Pricing was competitive as well.
Were a perfect match for the clearance lights on my 2015 American Hauler trailer.
So far this license plate light has worked flawlessly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that I thought the original light (same or very similar light) would last "forever" considering how much we use the trailer. In any case, this light thoroughly illuminates the license plate, so it's easy to see for the toll cameras in our area! I really appreciate the support and products that etrailer supplies. The other lights on my trailer (tail, turn, brake, clearance) have worked great, as long as I maintain a good ground connection on the wiring! I recently had a problem with intermittent lights (blinking on and off), that I eventually traced to a bad ground wire INSIDE the trailer-side wiring connection. I replaced the trailer-side connection, re-spliced the other wires, and wired everything through a weatherproof junction box that I bolted (drilled and tapped) to the side of the trailer tongue. The new ground wire is fastened securely to one of the threaded/bolted connections and seems to be working well so far. I used wired nuts to connect the other wires inside the weatherproof box, so it will be easy to replace connectors if they fail in the future.
Prompt deliver--exactly as described!!
