Features to know about

Direct Replacement for Worn-Out Lights: Surface-Mount Red Incandescent Design

If your old clearance or side marker light has cracked or failed, this 5-3/16" long by 2" tall red incandescent unit is a solid match. It’s built for a simple surface mount install with 4-13/16" center-to-center holes, so you can line it up where the old one sat without modification. The durable ABS housing and replaceable incandescent bulb make it an easy fit for repairs or upgrades without rewiring.

Keeping Moisture Out: Weathertight 2-Wire Plug Connection

Loose or corroded wiring can cause flicker and early failure, but this light uses a sealed 2-wire design with a weathertight plug to keep connections dry. That extra bit of protection means your signal stays reliable even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The simple setup—one power, one ground—makes it quick to hook up and dependable once it’s in place.

Better Visibility and Safety: Built-In Reflex Reflector and DOT Compliance

Instead of adding a separate reflector, this light has one built right into the red lens. It meets DOT P2 standards, giving you a consistent beam visible from straight on for proper clearance or side marking use. The built-in reflector helps other drivers see your trailer at night or in low light without extra parts or hardware.

Simple Maintenance and Long Service Life: Replaceable Bulb and 3-Year Warranty

When a bulb eventually wears out, there’s no need to replace the entire assembly—just swap in a new one. Its standard 12V DC operation draws only 0.422 amps at 12.8V, so it runs cool and steady. Backed by a 3-year warranty, it’s a straightforward, serviceable light meant to last season after season.

Broke one of my warning lights and stretched out the rubber grommets. Perfect fit and matched my existing lights like nothing ever happened. Awesome price and was delivered quickly. You have a customer for life thank you.

by:

Just what I need for my motorhome. Arrived much sooner than I expected. Installation was a snap.

by:

I'm so pleased with ETrailer because you are the only ones that carried it. Thank you so much.

I purchased this light assembly and a rubber grommet to replace the right marker light on my Karavan trailer. It fit perfectly and had the proper 2 pin connector. Ordering was easy and it arrived promptly.

by:

I A great experience. Product works as it should and Alec C. Made sure to keep me informed throughout the entire proceeds

by:

The product was an exact fit nothing required. Simply plugged it in to the existing wires and it clipped right into the trailer opening. Still working today! excellent!!

These running lights work great. I use them on my boat trailer which is exposed to a lot of salt water. No problems, for they are a sealed light. For the price I bought extras but haven't had to use them. It's been about a year now.

Light work great!!!
I always buy from
etrailer Customer service and fast delivery

Works as advertised.

by:

Knowing that a Black trailer would be hard to see at night the following lights were added to my custom built trailer for night time safety.

1- Side mount red and yellow fender light which only works when either the brakes or turn signal are in use.

2- Front Clearance lights, which give additional lighting at night when approaching on coming vehicles.

by:

Light was an identical replacement. No issues, great service and fast service. Will buy again from etrailer if I have to again.

by:

In the process of detailing my 2003 motorcycle trailer to get it looking good again. Clearance lights needed replacement. The original red lights were now faded pink for goodness sake! Replaced all 20 lights with the thin-line red and amber side marker lights. Replacement couldn't be more simple; remove original lights, snap in new. Exact fit and everything worked perfectly. Now, once the new tires and wheels get here we'll be in good shape! The new lights definitely make you say, "no way that trailer's 15 years old" :-)

As per your request here is a photo of the installation of the running lights that I purchased from etrailer. I have included a photo of the original light fixtures that I replaced. The originals were proprietary to Winnebago Industries, but have not been available for some time. The top piece that the lights mount on are made of a plastic material & was molded to accept the fixtures into a small recessed area. As a consequence, I could find no replacements at the local suppliers. I found the MC68RB fixtures on your web site & felt sure that they would fit the recessed area. They did fit, & I was able to install them with some common sense adjustments to the new fixture & the area that received the fixture:

1 added another wire to provide ground for the light.

2 drilled a hole to accommodate the wires in the center of area to receive the fixture, as the original hole was set to one side.

3 mounting holes were wider than new fixture - used one of the original holes & used a self drilling screw on the other.

We are happy with the installation, and in our opinion there is very little difference in appearance of the area between original & replacement provided by your company. There are at least 2 models (View & Nation) that used the original, global-bright 122R/122Y, sold between 2005 & 20013 from what I can tell.
I no longer have the good camera that took the photo of the original photo. The photo of the replacement fixtures was taken by a smart phone, hence, less quality of photo. Sorry the quality is so poor.

I really like the staff, you guys and gals rock! I have used you twice and thank you!

I bought 5 of these amber lights for the front of my trailer, and 5 red counterparts for the back, and similar oval side lights too, to replace all of the 50-year-old corroded lights on my 1970 Shasta M1400. I am super pleased with them, as they look period-appropriate, and are very bright as well. The only issue I had was that the Shastas of that period used the aluminum skin of the trailer as the ground, so there is no "ground wire." On a couple of them, the caulking I put under the lights made the ground screw not find the metal skin to ground the circuit. So just a note to be careful when you put the caulk on the back of the light when you are installing. Make sure you don't caulk over, and thus insulate, the ground plate. Btw, this was my first purchase from etrailer.. and in the past year, I have purchased probably another $xxxx of stuff for our trailer. Great selection, great service. This website really should be your first stop when modernizing your "vintage" trailer.

by:

High quality, inexpensive marker light. Easy to install, it happened to be in my mailbox as I was departing with the trailer so I just popped it in. Matches the OEM lights on the trailer.

Perfect fit as a replacement marker light. Gnippihs is not supposed to be commented on but I thought it was a little slow, not that that mattered to me.

by:

Perfect replacement for old, brittle lights on our 2020 Elite trailer. Good as new

by:

Great shipping, exactly what we needed, great price!

by:

Replaced old markers with these new updated LEDs - fit was perfect. The quality, price per item, and shipping keeps me as a return customer.

by:

Good quality product. Exactly as described. The only complaint that I have is that there are zero instructions. What instructions would one need for a light? Which wire is used for ground, black or white? This may not be important for an incandescent bulb but reverse voltage will typically blow an LED. If you do house wiring, you expect the white wire to be ground. If your background, like mine, is radio and DC circuits then the DC ground wire is typically black or green. On these lights, the ground is white.

  • Replacement Side Marker Light for Glo-Brite TMC 6 Long and 2 Wide
I have a solution for you, but we don't have an exact replacement for the Glo-Brite marker clearance light you're referring to-I do actually believe they're completely out of business. However, the Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light w/ Weathertight Plug - Incandescent - Red Lens # MC70RB is 5-13/16" long and 2" wide and will provide the same type of light that you're looking for, it's just a slight bit wider than your original light. The mounting holes on this light are 4-13/16" apart,...

  • Is The Peterson Clearance Light M116A Offered In Red?
The Peterson Clearance or Side Marker Trailer Light # M116A is a pretty unique design. Unfortunately, they are currently only offered in the amber color. However, we do have a couple options you may want to check out. I have these listed below: Optronics # CB22RB Optronics # MC70RB Peterson # 424600 The # CB22RB will be the most similar, but they are still pretty different. Personally, I prefer the Peterson # 424600 as it has a classy/vintage kind of look to it. Granted, if this isn't...

  • Replacement Clearance Lights for a 1977 Rancho El Rae Camping Trailer
Unfortunately even with the mounting dimension it will be difficult for me to recommend a replacement lense cover for a trailer that old without knowing the brand and model number of the lights you have installed. Therefore, I recommend replacing the lights on your trailer with a set of new LED lights that way you will not have to worry about them for some time. For the circular lights on your trailer I recommend using the LED Trailer Clearance/Side Marker Light part # MCL57RB for red...
