This M1 Millennium Series light replaces fragile incandescent bulbs with four amber LEDs that shine bright through a clear lens. They’re more efficient, drawing only 0.12 amps at 12.8V, so you get higher visibility with less power demand. You won’t have to worry about replacing bulbs either—the LEDs last up to 50 times longer, with no brittle filaments to break. That means more time on the road and less maintenance down the line.
When you’re dealing with rain, spray, or full submersion, this light is ready for it. The housing and lens are sealed together to keep water from reaching the circuit board or diodes. Whether it’s mounted on a boat trailer or exposed to constant wet conditions, you can count on it to stay watertight and reliable trip after trip.
A chrome bezel surrounds the lens for a finished appearance that looks sharp on any trailer. It gives a polished look while also protecting the edges of the light. The clear lens over the amber LEDs blends well with different trailer styles, so you get a clean setup that’s both functional and good-looking.
Mounting this light is simple. It’s a surface-mount unit that measures 6-5/8" long by 2-3/16" tall and just 3/4" thick, with mounting holes spaced 4-5/8" apart center-to-center. The two-wire setup uses 0.180 male bullet connectors—one for power and one for ground—so hookup is quick and frustration-free. Once in place, it’s solid, low-profile, and dependable.
The P2 rating gives you a controlled beam pattern that extends 45 degrees to either side of center for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. That makes it perfect for use as either a clearance light or a side marker light, depending on where it’s mounted. It’s DOT compliant too, so you know it meets visibility standards for safe towing.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Optronics amber LED clearance or side marker light with the chrome housing. This is an amber side marker or clearance light. It is a P2-rated light, has a nice clear polycarbonate lens, does use a chrome bezel, and is a sealed waterproof design. The LEDs on it make great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer. They're more efficient; provide brighter light with less power output, and there's no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break. Does use four diodes.
It is a hardwired design. It includes a separate ground wire. You can see it does use the male bullet connectors, a power and a ground connection, and they are not polarity sensitive so you can use either wire for either function. I am gonna hook it up here to 12 volt power just to show you the light lit up.A few dimensions on this, overall length from edge to edge is gonna be right at 6 1/2 inches. Overall width on it is right at 2 1/4 inches wide, and the total height if it's surface mounted from the very bottom to the very top is right at 3/4 inches tall.So again, what I'm gonna do here is we've got some 12-volt power.
We're gonna go hook up one side. And as I mentioned, it doesn't matter which side's power, which side's ground. You can see the light comes on. Go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, and you can see there's your amber side marker clearance light, and it is a P2 rated light. And we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, disconnect it.
But that should do it for the review on the Optronics amber LED clearance or side marker light with the chrome housing.

Though the lights are great, competitively priced and arrived super fast, this is more a review of etrailer.com itself. The order was shipped short 2 lights. But customer service fixed the problem with no questions asked and shipped the 2 lights immediately. Communication was superb and truly impressed me. They’ve earned repeat business from a very satisfied customer.
Solid quality with these marker lights - these hold up well with all the harsh climates they've been exposed. I would definitely buy them again as I have yet to come across any issues with them!
