When space is limited but visibility matters, bulky lights are not always an option. This Custer low-profile dual-color strobe delivers amber and white warning output in a slim 1/4" housing that fits almost anywhere.
Adding separate amber and white strobes takes more space and more mounting points. This dual-color light uses separate +V power wires for amber and white functions, with 18W output from six 3W LEDs. You can operate either color from one 1/4" low-profile housing and keep the install compact.
Multiple strobes need to flash in a readable pattern, not randomly across the vehicle. This light uses a 5-wire pigtail for power, ground, sync and pattern change, and alternating wig-wag control. You can synchronize lights or alternate them through the wiring already on the unit.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at this Custer low profile strobe light in rectangular shape. It's gonna feature amber and white LED strobes. Folks, this is going to do strobing and light sequences, so flashing lights. So make sure you stop the video right now if you're susceptible to those kind of things.
And let's get into it. So I do want to go ahead and zoom in, and then we will shut off the overhead lights once I get this going here so you can also see it in the dark. So nice, bright, brilliant, and you can see right there far away as well. So let's go ahead and shut off the overhead lights in the studio here. And then all I have to do to feature or go through these 20 different selectable patterns is just tap on these other wires per the manufacturing instructions.
And then I can change and select multiple lights or alternating wigwag functions that are built in. This is a surface mount installation. It's gonna include that mounting gasket and the two screws and the little bitty lock washers that are included. It is fully encapsulated for moisture and vibration resistant. It's three and a half inches long, one inch wide, and one quarter inches thick or tall, depending on how you're looking at it.
So again, folks, 20 different selectable flash patterns. I think we went through them all. So let's go ahead and turn back on the studio lights. And let's take a closer look at the light itself. So as you can see, again, nice thin profile, flush mount.
Again, you get the two screws with the little washers included and then the foam backer here. And that's just gonna help everything fit nice and flush and stay quiet and give it a nice grip as well. And then of course, you got your five colored wires here on the pigtail, making it easy to install and wire up. So again, folks, this is an amber and white. We do carry these in different color options as well. So if you need different colors, check 'em all out over at etrailer.com. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
