Keeping your trailer visible from all angles matters. This light has a built-in reflex reflector that removes the need for a separate reflector, cutting down on parts and installation time. The amber lens with integrated reflector gives both style and safety in one piece, so you stay visible even when the light is off.
A wide beam means better coverage. This PC-rated light throws a 90-degree spread on each side, giving a full 180-degree viewing angle. That makes it easy to be seen from in front or from the side when properly mounted. It can serve as both a clearance and side marker light—exactly what you want for safer night driving and signaling.
No need for large cutouts or complex wiring. The surface-mount setup lays flat against your trailer and only needs a small hole for the wiring. It secures using simple mounting hardware (not included) and connects with a straightforward 2-wire pigtail—one power lead and one ground. With 1-5/8" center-to-center mounting holes and a compact 2-1/2" diameter by 1" depth, it fits neatly while keeping things tidy and functional.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a LED clearance or side marker light with a built-in reflex reflector. This round trailer light functions as both a clearance light and a side marker light when properly mounted. It is an LED system. LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments.The unit features the really nice amber lens with the built-in reflex reflector.
It mounts on the surface of the trailer. You have three mount holes right there. You can gain access to those by removing the lens from the base. Mounting hardware for installation is not included. It's a two-wire pigtail, so the white wire is the ground wire, yellow wire is the power wire.
Now, the installation surface does require at least a 5/8" diameter hole for the wire base to fit into for a flush mount design. It is SAE approved, and it is a P2PC rated light.Taking a look at the dimensions real quick, starting with the overall diameter. Measuring edge to edge, that gives us a diameter measurement of about 2 1/2". The thickness of the unit, from the back of the base, right here, to the front of the lens, measures about 1" thick or 1" deep. That's how far it sticks out from the installation surface.
The distance we have between each mount hole, center on center, is 1 5/8".We're going to go and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights, so you can see it in a lower light setting. You can see here that the light sends out a nice consistent signal. You can see that built-in reflex reflector.
This light features a total of two diodes or two LEDs, so the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.That's going to do it for today's look at the LED clearance or side marker light with the built-in reflex reflector.

Well it’s been a year and still looks and works like brand new. I would buy it again when needed. Excellent light replacement for my new camper. Ez to install
I am happy with the amber lights as a good match, but I was surprised they are upside down regarding aligning with the three holes for the installation screws. The light assembly and the lens both indicate which part is "up", but this does not match the original configuration. An obvious solution was simply to turn both "upside down" so the screw holes would line up. My only concern with this was there might be more potential for the amber lens cover to either pop off from vibration or to allow some moisture into the fixture when it rains (because the part you pry up to open the lens is now on the top rather than the bottom). I am going to put a bit of clear sealant at the top of the lens (which will not be visible from below).

Marker light assembly matches original marker and are the same brightness. I recommend.
Exactly like our original 2018 Retro RV lights. Fits on upside down but otherwise perfect with a caulk finish.

After one year, the lights are still in place and working. They are brighter than the OEM lights they replaced.
Left extensive comments on the red version. Great product, great company.
Light was a perfect match for the lights on my Camper. With so many light styles and color temperatures shopping for a match can be very difficult. etrailer.com is my go to for my lighting needs. I’ll be looking to them for my other trailer needs and will give a review on them in the future.
