Features to know about

Smooth, Reliable Lifting: 2,000-lb Capacity with 14-3/8" Total Lift

This Curt A-Frame jack makes raising and lowering your trailer simple and steady. With a 2,000-lb lift capacity and 14-3/8" of lift, it handles everyday trailer use without strain. The topwind handle turns smoothly, giving you control without wobble or slop, and the internal gearbox stays protected inside the housing for consistent operation over time.

Built to Last: Black Powder Coat Protects Against Rust and Wear

A jack takes a beating from weather, road grime, and storage, but this one holds its own. The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion, keeping the outer tube looking clean and the mechanism turning freely. Even after long days on the road or time parked outdoors, the finish holds up instead of flaking or dulling.

Secure Operation: Bolt-Head Fastener Keeps the Handle in Place

When you’re maneuvering or leveling, the last thing you want is a loose handle. The built-in bolt-head fastener locks the topwind handle securely during use, so there’s no slipping or rattling. You can crank with confidence knowing everything stays tight and under control.

Flexible Mounting: Bolt-On or Weld-On Installation for Standard A-Frames

Whether you’re replacing a worn-out jack or adding one to a custom setup, this design fits standard A-frame couplers with 3-1/4" center-to-center bolt holes. The bracket can be welded or bolted on (hardware not included), giving you freedom to mount it your way and get back on the road fast.

Adaptable Setup: Add a Footplate or Caster When You Need It

For smooth rolling or extra stability, you can equip this jack with a compatible footplate or caster. Both are sold separately, so you can choose what best fits your trailer style or storage needs. Having that flexibility means your setup can work just as well on pavement, gravel, or in the driveway.

Video Transcript for Curt Round A-Frame Trailer Jack Feature Review

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt A-frame round jack. This is going to be the device you need at the front of your trailer to help lift it up or drop it down so you can get it connected or disconnected from your coupler. So it's very important to keep these guys in good working order. This should be a good fit for a lot of different trailers.

It does have that triangular style. So it works well for the A-frame style trailers. And let's take a little closer look at it so you can see the features and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for you.So as you can see, it's going to have, again, that triangular plate there. This does have a height for that bracket of.. eight and a quarter inch, whenever it's fully retracted.

If we we're to extend this all the way up, it's 22 and five eighths inches. So that gives it a total lift of 14 inches and three eighths. The mounting bracket spacing for the holes center to center is three and a quarter inch. That's going to be the same for all of those three mounting spaces. The inner tube diameter is two inches.

The outer tube is two and a quarter. The clearance from the bottom of the bracket to the top of your handle is 11 and an eighth inch. So it's going to be to the top here. If we go to the top of the actual handle, where we hold on to it, it's about 16 and a quarter inch. The lift capacity for this jack is 2000 pounds, it is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. You can find the footplate or caster sold separately here at etrailer.com and a couple of different options, so it just kind of depends on your application.

This is again a top wind jack, and it does have that bolt on application, but it does not come with any hardware so you'll either need to reuse your old hardware or get some new. The in the gearbox is going to be internal, so pretty compact should stay a fairly small on your trailer. That's really about all there is to it for our look at the Curt round A-frame trailer jack. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right piece for you. If not, we do have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com. Again, I'm Ellen here. Thanks for watching..

See what our Experts say about this CURT Trailer Jack

  • 2,000 Pound A-frame Trailer Jack thats Made in the USA
Curt trailer jacks like part # C28200 are all made in China. A lot of trailer jacks are but we do have the Dutton-Lainson which has similar specs to the Curt and is made in the USA if that's what you're looking for. Look at part # DL22781. It has the same 2,000 pound capacity with 14 inches of travel and fits the standard A-frame bolt pattern just like the Curt.

  • Bolts Needed for Curt Round A-Frame Trailer Jack
To mount the Curt Round A-Frame Trailer Jack # C28200 to your trailer you will use 3/8" bolts, which is standard for A-frame jacks and couplers. The length will really depend on your specific trailer frame size, which I wasn't able to track down for your 2020 Karavan Trailer.
