Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dexter Tow Assist ABS-ready hub and drum. Now, if you're looking for a heavy-duty hub and drum for a 5,200 pound to 7,000 pound trailer axle, this one's built specifically for axles that use the number 42 spindle. And this comes as a hub and drum assembly only. So you're not gonna get any of the supporting hardware with this, but you're gonna be able to order all of that, all of those matching parts separately using the part numbers that I'm gonna show you in just the next minute or so.

So you see the information there. This is gonna work with wheel sizes from 16 to 17 1/2 inches. And the size of our drum is 12 inches in diameter and two inches wide. Now, one standout feature is that this is ABS-ready. This hub is machined with this toothy edge to accept a Tow Assist ABS sensor, which is gonna be great if your axle is equipped for that system.

Just keep in mind that the sensor and towing ring are not included with this. This is designed for standard grease lubrication and it's also E-Z Lube compatible. If your axle has that set up, you'll just need to pair it with the proper drive-in grease cap and lube plug. Now, this hub does use the common 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern. So this is gonna work with most standard eight lug wheels in that size.

And then on your screen I'm giving you a bunch of information. These are items that are not included. So this does not include the bearings, does not include the grease seal or the grease cap, or the rubber loop plug, the lug nuts, nut retainer, the spindle jam nut. So all of that information is there. That's what you're going to need if you don't have it already.
