Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Demco 13 inch Left-Hand Driver's Side Single Servo Hydraulic Drum Brake Assembly. Now, this hydraulic drum brake assembly is designed for use with the surge-type trailer brake actuators. This is a sturdy, corrosion-resistant steel construction. Does use stainless steel spring hardware and a zinc-plated wheel cylinder. And if you noticed, this is a uni servo design, which is basically a single plunger design.

This will deliver 15 to 20% braking in reverse. And it is a manual adjustment. You can see at the very bottom here where the adjustment wheel is. It does require a periodic manual adjustment. Now, the mounting bolts to install this, they are sold separately.

As you can see, it does fit on a mounting flange bolt pattern of 4 on 4.8 inches. And that's measured from the center of one hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. Now, the configuration, this is a left-hand driver side. And where you can tell that is if you look on the back, right down at the bottom, you can see it is stamped left-hand side. Now, this is also available on a right-hand passenger's side assembly if you do need that.

It goes by a part number of DM44ZR. Now, the size on this, when we say this is 13 inch, what that measurement is the diameter. So from this shoe to this shoe, straight across is gonna be 13 inches. So you can see this is a 13 inch ruler I have here, and it goes edge to edge. Now, the wheel size that'll fit on the brake assembly is 16 inch up to 22 1/2 inches.
