You're hauling your trailer through mud, rocks, and salty ocean air, and you don't want it getting messed up. These aluminum Jeep-style fenders take the abuse, block the spray, and match your rig with that same tough, squared look.
You can weld the fenders to your trailer for a permanent setup that won't move or loosen over time. If you don't have a way to weld, bolt them on with brackets instead. That setup gets the job done without any welding gear and still gives you a strong, secure fit. Bolting also makes repairs easier later on.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this etrailer aluminum Jeep style single axle trailer fender. Now with this fender, you're gonna be able to give your trailer a more rugged, timeless upgrade. This is going to be a single axle Jeep style fender and it's got that classic look that you love. But with the added benefit of modern construction built from lightweight, rust proof diamond tread plated aluminum.
So this is gonna be as tough as it is stylish and good looking. So this is gonna be perfect for not only fresh water, but also salt water use. And this heavy duty fender is made to last while keeping the weight down to a minimum. Lemme see if I can give you some measurements here real quick. So let's start with the length here first.
So end to end, so I hope you can see we are sitting pretty close to 36 inches long. The height right about 19 inches tall. And then that depth, it might be a little bit trickier here to show you. Lemme see if I can line that up here. I'm just gonna lay it like that.
We're gonna be sitting pretty close to 10 inches deep. So again, this is going to be strong yet relatively light weight. I think this weighs maybe about 7.5 pounds. It's gonna hold up really well against salt water, fresh water. And again, you are going to get this one fender, so if you need more than one, obviously you'll just change the quantity in your order.

Approximately 6 months after I installed the fenders I started to notice small cracks at the bend seam of one of the fenders. A few months later the other side started to develop the same cracks. It seems the cracks are a result of the wind pressure hitting the front surface of the fender while traveling. Looking in my mirrors while driving the fenders are shaking back and forth in the wind and after a while the cracks start developing. The solution to this problem would be for the manufacture to increase the thickness of the fender for more stability. If they were a bit thicker they might not have cracked. I am going to take the trailer to a welding ship and see how much it would cost to weld a flat piece of bar srock to the underside of the fender along the bend for additional support. Also the cracks can be welded as well but without the extra bars for support they would probably just crack again.

The fenders have worked out great. They were installed on a special built trailer to carry a VW powered trike that I also built. Before I ordered this set of fenders I had also ordered a set to be installed on the trike. I am currently converting the trike to a much larger Subaru engine and was waiting until I made the engine change to install the second set. I will be installing them soon, as the engine has just been changed out. Thanks again for the quick service and I will contact E-trailer again in the future for my trailer and custom vehicle needs.
