Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement ABS sensor for your Lippert ABS system. Now this is a replacement A BS wheel speed sensor made specifically for your Lippert trailer ABS systems that use the 10 inch drum brakes on a single axle trailer. Now what this does is pretty straightforward, but it's important the sensor monitors how fast the wheel is turning and sends that information to the trailer's ABS control module. If the system senses that the wheel is about to lock up during hard braking, the ABS can step in and adjust brake pressure.
That's gonna help prevent skidding. It's gonna improve stability and give you better control, especially during sudden stops or slick roads. You're typically going to replace this sensor if the ABS warning light comes on the system throws a fault code, or if the original sensor has been damaged by road debris, corrosion, or normal wear over time. A bad sensor can cause the ABS systems to stop working properly, even if the rest of the brakes are fine. The nice thing is this is a direct replacement part, so this is directly from Lippert, so you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that.
It comes with everything that you see here. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this sensor or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
