Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Performance Tool headlamp. Now, as you know, holding a flashlight with one hand and trying to do a job with the other can be kind of annoying, can be kind of tedious and take up a whole lot more time. This headlamp has a spot light and a light strip, and I have the light strip activated right now, so as not to blind you with the spot light, and that's gonna help you see your surroundings and see whatever you're working on. So let me go ahead and shut my lights off here real quick just to show you what we've got going on.
So as I mentioned, this is going to be our light strip, and I'm gonna shine this on the wall behind me here just so you can kind of see the view there and how much light it casts. So that's the light strip there at the brightest point. And then this is a light strip that's, it's going down in brightness a little bit, and then you can see it's very low there. And then that's gonna turn it off. And then now we have our spot light, and I'm gonna shine that on the wall behind me.
So again, it gives you that direct beam of light that you're looking for. And what I really like about this is this will pivot. So let me go ahead and just pivot that down. Now, the light might be flickering a little bit and that's not the light itself, that's how the LED sometimes will go through the camera. So if you see any flickering, that's just due to how the camera sees the light.
The light is not actually doing that. And then I'm gonna go ahead and hit it one more time, and so that gives me both the spot light and the light strip together. So it's got the combination spot light/light strip, the light strip at the brightest, and then the light strip at a medium brightness, and the light strip at a low, and then it's off. And then that's just the spot light. Now, I wanted to show you that this also has what I call an SOS function, and so I just wanna show you that.
And so if you find yourself in an emergency situation, you can activate this function. So that's really cool. And then let me go ahead and turn that off. And I'm just gonna go back to the light strip there. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and turn my studio lights back on there. And then let me go ahead and just turn this off all the way. And then I'm going to go ahead and give you a closeup view. Hopefully my hair's not too messed up. So let's go ahead and take a closer look here. So here's the pivoting feature there for that spotlight. So that's gonna be very easy to do. And then here in the back is where you control it. So let me just go ahead and do this. You hit it one time, that activates spot light, you hit it twice, it's the spot light and the light strip, and then just the light strip at the brightest, and medium, and then low, and then that turns it off. And then to activate that emergency function, you just hold the button down and then that activates it. So really easy to use. You've got a battery indicator here when the light's on, letting you know how full your battery is. So this is going, what I like about this is it's not overly complicated to use. So you can just activate the functions that you need very quickly with just a few pushes of that button. So again, the spot light's gonna give you that light where you need it. That light strip is gonna light up your surroundings. This has a maximum brightness of 550 lumens. And then the maximum runtime when you are running this on low is gonna be about 6 1/2 hours. This has an adjustable strap, so this is going to fit pretty snugly and comfortably around your head. And then this is gonna be very easy to charge. This has a, it looks like it's a USB-C connection there. So you're gonna take this included cable, plug that one end and this USB-C, the other end is USB-A, and you'll just plug that into adapter. So that'll be very easy to charge up. So you got five output settings plus the emergency setting. And again, very easy to use. I will tell you that as much as I like the light strip, you will feel the heat from that light strip coming through this just a little bit. It's not overly uncomfortable, I just wanted to make you aware of it. But it's a very cool feature nonetheless. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our brief time together has been illuminating for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Great service!
Excellent product and professionnnel fa brication
A little bulky but comfortable. The light is crazy bright and just what I need walking into the duck blind
The light is great; the straps loosen relatively quickly
Sweet headlamp, brightest I’ve ever used. Great for hiking , working , biking , skiing all at night. Hard to beat a rechargeable headlamp like this for this price. Would recommend to anyone over any regular flash light.
