TruXport installs with rails along the top of your truck bed walls, held in place by clamps - three per side. A front and rear header hold the cover assembly in place; Velcro strips along the rails secure the cover; and weather seals on all four sides help to keep dust, rain and snow out of your truck bed.
The TruXport features a dual-latching mechanism that secures the tonneau cover at your tailgate. This mechanism includes a built-in tension control that automatically sets the tension of your tonneau cover when the rear header is snapped into place. This ensures that you never need to manually adjust the tension of the cover. The latches can be released one at a time, so you don't need a partner - or a giant wing span - to open the cover.
A pair of security straps holds the tonneau in place behind the cab when it is rolled up, allowing full access to the truck bed. The rear header and crossmembers roll up with the cover to form a compact roll. The cover unrolls and latches in seconds, forming a secure rear cargo area when used in conjunction with a locked tailgate. TruXport cannot be released unless the tailgate is opened first.
The TruXport offers a smooth appearance on your truck bed with no arched bows. The tonneau cover rails sit only 1-1/2" above your truck's bed rails.

Did NOT fit my '05 Toyota Tundra because it is the Sidestep Model, and NONE of the listings mentioned anything about not being compatible with my model truck
The top rail is skewed to the right. Thusly, the whole cover (front to back) is shifted to the passenger side, and the weatherproofing is compromised on the driver's side. I checked and double checked the orientation and aspect (squared fit) of the side rails, and they are true. The cover is not a good fit in this scenario.
How can I correct this?
Otherwise, a well-engineered product.

I really like this cover. Only issue is that it does not roll up equally on both sides all the time. Easy on off, I have a fifth wheel hitch.
On 11/27/2023, I received the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover after recently receiving a damaged one. It was a no hassle replacement of the cover after the purchase. One was shipped immediately. As of today, 9/15/2025, the cover works great and the Velcro is intact. My truck is a 2020, Chevy High Country 3500 dually. The cover protects a 90 gallon gasoline tank, the fifth wheel hitch, and other miscellaneous items when I’m not driving my fifth wheel trailer. The cover frame sustained some damaged last year during a camping trip when the 5th wheel trailer fell on it after I drove forward. The cover was rolled up and sustained no damage. The tonneau frame bent along with the walls of the truck’s bed walls. Surprisingly, the velcro on the frames and locking mechanism was not affected. I was able to roll the cover over the damaged frame and secure it with the velcro. The cover’s lock worked flawlessly and best of all, no rain leaked.
I definitely recommend this product and also recommend buying anything you need from etrailer. They provide customer service that if fair, attentive, and beyond exceptional. Thank you etrailer!!!

Perfect fit and easy installation except no mention of the tie down straps mounting. I did have to add 1/2 inch weather strip on the front of my truck bed do to the bed rail caps. Looks great
Although my truck is garaged, this is a quality Tonneau Cover. It was easy to install and it keeps my truck looking neat and clean and provides better gas mileage. When you want it out of the way, simply pull the release latches after letting down the tail gate and lift it to release the velcro and proceed to roll it up behind the cab where it has 2 hooks and a rubber strap to secure it. I love it!
I have a 2025 ram 2500. This does not fit my truck well. The sides are too long so the Velcro barely hooks onto the tracks. Also while installing, the first time I tried to close the cover the latch broke. I had to loosen the tension all the way on the cover. The nut to loosen the tension is in a weird position where plastic covers the sides so you can get an open end wrench or socket in their so I just had to use needle nose pliers and yank at it. The material of the cover seems cheap and thin so we will see how long it lasts. Does the job but I expected better.

Replaced my existing damaged TruXedo that was installed in 2018. I liked the previous logo better than the new logo. Why change from TruXedo TruXport brand logo as primary and use RealTruck? I actually ordered this from you because I thought you had the unit with the old logo. Amazon was showing the new logo and I did not want. Did RealTruck buy TruXedo?
Good fit and quality. I wasn't sure it would really fit my F150 Flare side since the bed tapers from front to back, but it did.
Next time I'll use Amazon. Took entirely too long for my order to process and the cover to arrive after I ordered. Rubber cushion on the bottom of one side rail was factory installed way out of place. Lack of QC at the factory. Written directions take a bit of time to understand...not hard to install, just sometimes not 100% clear. Had to make a couple minor adjustments once the rails and cover were in place.
Solid product. Take your time installing the foam seals. Has kept my bed dry through several storms
Easy installation on a 2026 Ram 3500 with an eight foot bed. Installed now for about a week no rain yet so no report of water in the bed. The cover looks well made and again great service with etrailer.

I wish I could comment on the bed cover, unfortunately I don have the truck any more. the item is still in the box. I do apologize for this again. I cant catch a break on trucks. I will need to return this.
Good product , easy to follow instructions. Cover was purchased to replace the existing cover (which had torn), and the latching system seems to be much more user friendly then the ols system.
This is the second one of these that I have purchased (two separate vehicles). I have been really happy with this product. The fit is great, the appearance is fantastic and the installation is super easy. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy, good-looking cover. The only downside is that there is no way to lock the cover to keep items in your truck bed safe.
Save the money and don't buy this cheap cover. Didn't even last a yeat. After 3 months, the rear (tailgate section) would pop up while driving on the highway. Virtually no support from manufacturer. Complete waste of money. Ended up throwing it away in less than 6 months.
This product has been the best investment yet. My hunting gear stays dry. I can sleep in there as well. I can load my stuff the night before and not worry that it’s just sitting out for someone to take. Out of sight out of mind. Gas mileage increased slightly with less drag on the tailgate. I don’t have to keep tying things down. I just cover it and it locks very well. No issues yet for one whole year already. Highly recommended.

Well, I ordered and wanted the old version of the cover, where you manually open the latch on both sides. I got the new version with pull cord that opens both sides. Will see how that lasts. This is my 3rd of the same cover I have owned, the first two have been great. I just put this one on the new 3500 long bed. Fits great, will see how the pull latch lasts. I would recommend these covers.
Just installed this Truxedo soft cover on my new 2026 F-150. Fit exactly like described. Installation was simple and easy, about 30-45 minutes. Scanned through the instructions and just went after it. I really like that I can open this cover from either side. This is my second Truxedo I have owned. My first was new on my 2018 then I moved it to my 2021. Was planning to move it to this 2026 but then I sold my truck to my son and wanted him to have a cover on the truck. I definitely recommend this cover to anyone that wants a quality cover and definitely would and will purchase from Etrailer again.
