Soft covers can be cut open or pried up, but this hybrid design uses heavy-duty 3/4" thick aluminum slats under a black vinyl top to keep your cargo locked down. The cover secures with slam latches at the tailgate and additional latches at the mid-point of the bed, so it locks automatically in multiple spots when you shut it. When paired with a locked tailgate, it keeps your gear protected from both weather and theft.

When you need to haul taller loads, you don’t have to remove anything. Just pull one of the release cables at the tailgate and roll the cover toward the cab. Safety straps hold it in place while you drive, and the rolled-up cover stays low enough that it won’t block rear window visibility or your third brake light. Quick-release guides let you take the entire cover off in seconds without tools when you need completely open access.

A cover that warps or cracks in temperature swings won’t keep your gear dry for long. This one uses premium 5-layer woven polyester and vinyl fabric that’s been tested to handle everything from -40°F winters to 120°F summers. It shrugs off UV rays, rain, dust, and snow while staying flexible and looking clean. The blacked-out top layer over the aluminum slats gives it a uniform, matte finish that resists fading and dirt buildup.

Some covers sit high above the bed rails and break up the lines of your truck. The Sentry CT mounts on 15-degree angled side rails that keep it just 1/2" above the bed for a flush, streamlined look. That design cuts wind drag and noise while helping your truck slip through the air more efficiently. The ultra-low profile also keeps stake pockets free so you can still use tie-downs or other accessories.

Getting side rails straight can be tricky, but this setup makes it easy. Bolt-on clamps hold the rails in place—no drilling required—and built-in lips automatically square them as you tighten things down. That self-leveling design keeps the cover rolling smoothly every time. And since it’s mounted inside the bed rails, it stays compatible with most bed liners, rail caps, and other accessories without extra fuss.

There is a lot going on with the cover. Would you be able to send a picture of the cover and the serial number from it.

After a year the cover is still looking great and working great. I wish I had purchased one of these when I purchased my truck, as it is nice to be able to securely store stuff in the bed of my truck.
