The Revolver X2 is built with 1/4" thick, aircraft-grade aluminum slats covered in textured black vinyl. This combination gives it the strength of a hard cover with the sleek, soft look of vinyl. The rigid slats can’t be cut through like a standard soft cover, and the UV-resistant skin keeps it looking sharp while resisting impacts, sun, and weather. Rubber seals line the rails and tailgate to help block water intrusion, keeping your gear protected in any condition.

Most hard covers need to be removed or folded against the cab when it’s time to haul big items. With the Revolver X2, you just pull the cable release and roll it forward. The aluminum slats hinge smoothly so the cover rolls up evenly every time. Nylon straps with plastic buckles hold it behind the cab, and rubber bumpers keep it from touching your cab while you drive. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, you still have full use of stake pockets and tie-downs for racks or anchors.

Some covers sit high above the rails and look bulky. The Revolver X2 sits nearly flush inside the truck bed rails for a clean, streamlined look. The aerodynamic shape reduces wind drag to help improve fuel mileage while keeping a factory-style finish that blends right into the truck’s lines.

Rolling the cover closed or open can be done easily by one person. When closed, pressing down on the rear slat at the tailgate automatically locks the cover along both sides. The side rails rotate downward to secure every slat across the length of the bed—no Velcro or snaps needed. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the cover is sealed tight for added security. To open, just drop the tailgate and pull one of the two release cords to unlatch both sides at once.

Installing the Revolver X2 doesn’t require drilling or complicated alignment. The aircraft-grade aluminum rails clamp directly to the inside of the bed rails and use mounting plates and pre-installed shims to ensure proper positioning. Bolts secure the front hinge rail at the cab for a snug fit. Once installed, you get a solid base that stays square without constant adjustment—ready for everyday use right away.

Hi Laura - I am still pleased with my BAK bed cover. I dont like it quite as well as the previous version I had on my other 2013 Nissan Frontier truck which got stolen, hence the new cover, but I am still pleased with the product. The new cover doesnt roll or latch quite as smoothly as the old one, but it still works well. They also slightly changed the clips for anchoring the rolled up cover, and I find them harder to clip in and maintain tension on the strap, but again they do work. Thanks for following up.

Its still holding up well and it looks as good as it did the day I installed it. I have no regrets about making this purchase.

My judgment has not changed. This cover is still excellent. If I ever get a different truck, this will be among my first accessory purchases.

Well, not so happy with the product. The carpeting fell off on the underside of the cover. Also the right side of the cover towards the tailgate shrank. Its been a few months since I started to have those issues and should of contacted you earlier for warranty. Hopefully its not too late for a warranty claim.

I am sorry to hear that this cover is not working out for you. Would you be able to send a picture of where the vinyl is separating from the aluminum?

I am sorry to hear about your experience with this cover. It is a BAK industries product that makes the revolver covers, did your not have the logo on the left side by the tailgate? What kind of truck did you install this on?
