The instructions are terrible. It does not say explicitly how far back the side rails should be? It states to use standard instructions to adjust the height? What standard instructions? I did not receive anything defining itself as standard instructions? The only other instructions I received were in a booklet that clearly is for another vehicle! The side bars it states to ensure the top of the side bar is level with the top of the box. Got it now. How far back should this side bar be positioned? I am concerned about the strike in the rear as it is very close, if not touching, the plastic inside the bed. Matter of fact do you have a video showing these procedures since the instructions are so hard to follow?

It has not been a year however I have it installed the best I could. Ran into several issues as you can see with my initial install review. Another area was the burrs on the aluminum components I had to use a file to clean that up. Now that its installed I have found that any gear in the back will get wet during a rain storm. I found that out the hard way when my camping gear ended up getting soaked. The water seems to come in excessively in the front by the window and tailgate area. I understand it will not be completely waterproof however comparing it to other vehicles I had soft top covers on like a GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Silverado it is no comparison. I would rate those covers on the canyon and Silverado an 8 out of 10 as some water did get into those. However this vinyl cover on the Santa Cruz I would rate it a 2 out of 10 as far as keeping water out terrible overall. IIn other areas like wind resistance and noise at highway speeds I would rate it an 8 out of 10 it seems to be perfectly fine for what I was looking for. However due to the water issues and installation issues I would not recommend this product.
I received the window guards but the tonneau cover was not delivered. There is misrepresentation of your delivery. Sorry, don't mean to sound rude but I've been waiting long enough for the tonneau cover. I'll wait a few more days for delivery before I cancel order.

Great piece of engineering.Unfortunately the milled aluminum parts were poorly machined.
Don't be like me. Empty all the contents and that way you will find the extra instructions for the Santa Cruz. Cover is great and looks good too.

Nice looking unit. Easy install but it flaps as you drives down the road. Cannot adjust to make it tighter.

Installation uses existing bolt holes so no drilling. Fairly easy to install. If you follow the directions. Pictures could be a little clearer in the instructions though.

Latch has an interference. Knew about the interference with the rollup and the in-bed hatch. Looks like they just shortened their standard product without regard to any special requirements of the Santa Cruz.

Installation of this product is very difficult for Hyundai Santa Cruz (2025). The 2 sets of instructions are some of the worst I've ever seen plus you'll need to cross reference videos online for other models of trucks to fill out the missing information. I have it installed which look ok but it still needs more adjustment. Also when rolled up the Santa Cruz's back support frame next to the cab window area tapers up together at the top so the roll up doesn't fit up to the cab back window. I'll need to by clip extensions to hold it in it's rolled up position.
When installing the rails they would not sit square after tightening the clamps. The bed I have on my Santa Cruz has a plastic liner. Not sure if that was the problem. My son-in-law put two washers behind each clamp in order to square up the rail. That seemed to work. After the headache of trying to figure out how to correct the problem our solution worked. The cover itself looks great on the truck.

For the price and install time, I really like the cover.
After installation the fit was great.
The only thing is it wasn't very clear how to install the cab weather strip but I got it.

Very good no complaints great product
It fits and looks great. Shipping was extremely fast!! I didn't give it a five star rating because the cover mounting instructions were very difficult to follow and not specific to my compact pickup truck.
Good value. After one year in the hot Georgia sun, an especially cold winter, and lots of recent rain; the cover continues to hold up well and looks as good as the day I installed it. The installation was fairly easy, but the instructions could use improvement. However, with a little patience the result is nearly a custom fit. I have no negative comments regarding the quality and effectiveness of the product. Easy to use and keeps cargo dry even in the hardest of rainfall.
Product is great the directions not so great. After the bulkhead rail and side rails are put in tonneau cover should be rolled from the back to the front so you know exactly where everything's going.

I am glad the product is better than the instructions Robert! Unfortunately bad instructions are a part of the times, it is part of the reason why we started shooting the install videos back in the day. Glad you got things figured out, cover looks great!

I am sorry to hear the installation is not as easy as it should be, and I will agree the instructions are not the best. Let me know what year make and model you are installing this on and I can see if there is a video or better instructions for your specific vehicle to try and make the install a little easier for you.
