Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this WeatherTech Custom Fit Hood Protector. Now this hood protector is designed to fit your 2022 and newer Hyundai Santa Cruz and on custom fit parts such as this hood protector, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now this deflector is going to give you a low profile aerodynamic protection from bugs and debris for the hood of your Santa Cruz.
And this features a stylish skin type fit and this is going to be an easy no drill application using the included alcohol prep pads that you see there on my table before me and the surface prep pad, and then as you can see here on the rear, we do have the tape here that's going to be all around the top and the bottom of this deflector. And so you're just going to make sure that your hood is properly cleaned and then follow the instructions by using the alcohol pads and the surface prep pads before peeling back the covering of the adhesive here to expose that adhesive and then sticking this into place. Now this is made here in the USA of a durable acrylic that's going to withstand wear and tear. Lemme see if I can set this up here as I had it before. I do want to give you just a really quick closeup there as it's slipping off my blocks there just to give you a closeup there of the material.
So this is going to be very durable and this is a smoke color. It's a tinted color so you can still see my hand through there a little bit. It is a tinted, but it is transparent as well so it's not completely non see through. It is somewhat transparent with that smoke color. Instructions are also included to guide you through the installation process.
As you can see, it's not necessarily wanting hold up on my blocks there anymore, but you get the idea of what this is going to look like. And so if you do have a 2022 or newer Hyundai Santa Cruz and you are looking for a hood protector, this is going to be just what you need. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I need to order another one because I hit a deer and my hood is getting replaced, so I will be getting another one

I wish it was more of a ridged product, that did not Glue to the hood of the vehicle, I realized this when I bought it but, I did think it would be more of a hard molded product and hopefully it will last for many years to come.
Packaging is poor for that product. It needs something to keep the handlers from folding it up.
Fits perfectly but I wish it was long enough to the fender tops also.
Only issue? It ain't worth the price after all is said and done
