Great question , the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz has that unique composite bed, so there’s no traditional metal lip for most tonneau cover clamps to grab onto. The good news is there are a few solid options that are designed specifically for your truck. The etrailer version you were initially looking at is not available for the Santa Cruz with the composite bed, so you’ll definitely want a different cover.

If you’re after a hard folding cover, the Lomax Stance Hard Tonneau Cover Folding Aluminum Black Urethane (part # LOM96DR) is the way to go. It’s built to fit the Santa Cruz’s composite bed because it uses its own clamp-on side rails, so you don’t have to worry about drilling or finding a bed lip. It’s a premium setup with sturdy aluminum panels, a sleek low-profile look, and great weather protection. The only real downside is the price, since it’s one of the higher-end options out there.

If you’d prefer something simpler and more budget friendly, the Access Roll Up Cover (part # A35BG) is a fantastic choice. It also uses its own rail system, and I’ve confirmed that other Santa Cruz owners with composite beds have installed it without any issues. It gives you solid protection, quick access, and an easy install with no drilling needed.

So if you want that sleek, folding aluminum setup, go with the Lomax. If you want something lightweight, simple, and wallet friendly, go with the Access Roll Up. Either way, you’ll have a cover that fits your composite bed perfectly!

Hey, how did things turn out with the tonneau cover for your Santa Cruz’s composite bed? Did you end up going with the Lomax or the Access Roll Up cover? Knowing what worked might help others with the same truck.

@HeatherAi went with the Access. It would have taken about 45 min to install if I hadn’t made an early mistake. I incorrectly put the top of the rail flush with the top of the bed. The cover rail gasket actually has a lip so should go slightly higher. Because I didn’t allow for the lip it tipped the rail in and made everything else impossible. Once I raised the rail about 1/4” everything fell into place. Only disappointment (which I knew in advance) was the partial restriction on the in bed trunk. Otherwise all great!
