Notes:
Once your tire begins to roll, the beads will get distributed around its interior thanks to centrifugal force. As the wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on your trailer's suspension. This will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull. The beads will continue to migrate until there are enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance your tire. This process will continue for the life of the tire, constantly and automatically adjusting when necessary.
There is a misconception that trailers do not need to have balanced tires. The truth is, a trailer with unbalanced wheel assemblies will increase the roll resistance for your tow vehicle and create a much bumpier ride. Dragging a trailer with janky wheels can cause your truck to expend a good deal of energy, resulting in higher fuel costs. Fueling your truck can cost you a fortune, so why not do everything possible to cut down on those costs?
Counteract balancing beads were independently tested and shown to improve fuel consumption up 2.2% on semi-truck and trailer combinations, where both the truck and trailer tires were balanced with beads. Not only does balancing your tires help you save money, but the less fuel you use, the better it is for the environment as well. Couple this with the fact that these beads are made from recyclable glass and won't come loose from the tire to contaminate the ecosystem, and you have an overall environmentally friendly product.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Counteract six ounce single bag of tire balancing beads for trailers. Now, these Counteract balancing beads are the economical way to balance your trailer tire and wheel assembly for the lifetime of the tire. The beads will install inside your tire. I wanted to zoom in and show you when you receive this, you'll receive a bag like this. And at the top, there'll be a tear tag.
I've already torn that off so we can access it and what you'll get on the inside, you can see you'll get your, make sure we get everything out of there. There we go. You'll get your bag of beads. This is a six ounce bag of balancing beads. You'll get a vortex valve core and then a self-sealing valve cap.
The beads, if you look, they are tiny spheres made of coated glass. And the balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner liner of your tire. They won't clump regardless of excess moisture. And they are TPMS compatible. They are also environmentally friendly construction with the usable recyclable beads.
And basically how the Counteract bead tire balancing works, wanna pop up an insert just to show you the progression there. So basically once your tire begins to roll, the bag will break and the beads will get distributed around its interior thanks to centrifugal force. And as that wheel continues to spin, basically the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on your vehicle's suspension and this will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pole. The beads will continue to migrate until there are enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance your tire. And these tire balancing beads will continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your single trailer tire.
It does reduce vibration and ensures even wear to increase life for your tire, even help improve fuel economy. As we've mentioned, they're very easy installation. You'll just take this whole inner bag, throw it into the tire when it's removed from the wheel, or you can even inject the beads into the valve stem. The beads will basically remain inside the tire. They won't come loose to contaminate the environment. They won't cause any damage to your wheels. Now, if your tire does have internal TPMS sensors, you will need to break down the tire to install these beads. Now, these balancing beads here, it's a six ounce size. They are designed for use on trailers with a 700 by 15 and 750 by 16 trailer tire size and a minimum of a half ton suspension. You do not wanna use these beads on passenger cars or SUVs. And to let you know how to order the correct amount of beads for your application, you'll get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your trailer tire and then match it to the tire sizes that are listed on the product page for that size bag of beads. You'll use different size bags for different size tires. And these are sold separately. We do offer them in many different sizes. Now, in order to reduce the possibility of valve leaks, they do recommend the use of the Counteract vortex valve core and a metal valve cap. They are recommended in place of the original valve core and cap, and they are included in every bag of Counteract beads. These parts are made in the USA and this is for a total quantity of one bag of beads for one tire. But that should do it for the review on the Counteract six ounce single bag of tire balancing beads for trailers.
