Notes:
How Counteract Tire Balancing Works
Once your tire begins to roll, the beads will get distributed around its interior thanks to centrifugal force. As the wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on your vehicle's suspension. This will cause the beads to shift in the opposite direction of that pull. The beads will continue to migrate until there are enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot to balance your tire. Before Installing Counteract

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Counteract single four ounce bag of Tire Balancing Beads. Now these are Counteract balancing beads, which are an economical way to balance your tire and wheel assembly for the lifetime of a tire. And these beads are designed to install inside your tire. I wanted to zoom in and show you closer. The bag you'll receive here.
What you'll do is tear off the top right here, which I've already done. When you open your bag on the inside, I'm going to dump it all out here and on the inside, it's going to include the four ounce bag of balancing beads, a vortex valve core and a self-sealing valve cap. Now these beads are made of a coated glass sphere, which they will not cause damage to the inner liner of the tire. They won't clump regardless of excess moisture and they are TPMS compatible. They are an environmentally friendly construction with reusable and recyclable tempered glass spheres.
And basically how this Counteract beads work. When you throw em inside your tire, just sort of zoom in and show your insert there, but basically once your tire begins to roll, these beads will get distributed around the interior of the tire, thanks to centrifugal force. And as that wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up and down on the vehicle suspension. And this will cause the beads to shift the opposite direction of that pull. So the beads will eventually, if you look at that insert, they eventually will migrate until there's enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot of the tire to balance the tire.
That means balancing beads will continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your trailer or light duty truck tire. Helps reduce vibration, ensures even wear to increase life of tire, to improve fuel economy. And they are a very easy installation. Basically, you just throw this inner bag into the tire when the tire is removed from the wheel, or you can inject the beads into the, through the valve stem. Now the beads will remain inside the tire and they won't come loose to contaminate the environment and they will not cause any exterior damage to your rims.
Now, basically you wanna notice, is your tire does have internal TPMS sensors, you will need to break down the tire to install these beads. Again, the application is for this four ounce bag we mentioned, is for trailers and the half ton and one ton trucks. And to order the correct amount of beads needed for your application, what you'll do is get the size of the tire from the sidewall of your trailer or vehicle, and then match it to the tire sizes that are listed on the product page of this product. And for that size bag of beads, these beads do come in different sizes, four ounce, six ounce, eight ounce. So if you go to the product page for that size it'll list the tires sizes that it'll work on. Now, in order to reduce the possibility of valve leaks, they do include this Counteract valve core and this metal valve cap, and it is recommended and included in every bag of the Counteract beads. And as we mentioned, the Counteract beads are TPMS compatible. They are made in the USA, and this is for a quantity of one bag of beads for one tire. But that should do it for the review on the Counteract single four ounce bag of Tire Balancing Beads..

I love them. Went on a trip from Buffalo, N.Y. To Branson, Missouri and the ride was as smooth as could be. No vibration at all at speeds up to 90 miles an hour..
I definitely will use them again.
Counter Act balance beads are an excellent product, I have used them in my motorcycle tires for years. This is the first time I have ordered a set for truck tires.
Best way to keep your trailer tires balanced and not need rebalancing later.
Balance beads do not work in jeep wheels! I even called the manufacturer to make sure I was using the correct amount for my application.
Product arrived fast and exact. Thsnks
I have a 1970 VW van with 14" wheels that most shops can't balance because they lack the adapter ring to fit the wheels. Looking for options I found Tire Balancing Beads, with this kit being the best option for me, providing not just the beads in correctly sized pouches for each tire, but all the tools necessary to install them. That process was super easy. This low-tech solution was perfect and the beauty is, the beads last for the lifetime of the tire -- no worry about weights falling off. The price for the full kit was less than bead-only costs from most other retailers.
Was impressed how well the beads work.
Was pleased with the packaging and shipping from etrailer. Would order again.
Great product, works good, order arrived quite a bit late unfortunately, but thats not etrailer's fault.
Counteract beads are a great product. Works past my expectations. Plus you don't see the wheels weights. Much cleaner look. Thanks Etrailer
Counteract Tire balancing beads is a excellent product. Can't say enough on how good it works! No more losing weight, especially the stick on type. Beads reside inside tire and works great. Package arrived and packaged well. Thanks ETrailer!!
Counteract beads are the way to go for me. Great product. Plus you don't see wheel weights on outside of wheel. Thankyou Etrailer
Got what I paid for and in a timely manner no hassle
quick service! Great Price
This system did not work on my gmc retain or series pickup. The fire monitor in the valve stem seems to impede the head flow. Wish that was mentioned in description. Now I'm stuck with an expensive tool that does not meet my needs.
Good tires for price, used on car dolly, exact replacement, no issues at all so far
I have used balance beads in many kinds of tires (trailer, truck, car, van) and always get way more miles and better wear from my tires . Highly recommend !!!
WARNING on the packaging on these - each outer bag contains an inner bag of beads + a valve stem + a valve cap + a valve extension. The valve parts are just loose inside the outer bag. Problem is, it wasn't clear that the valve parts are even included with the product, and on 3 of the 4 I received, the inner bag was broken. The inner bag was broken on the first one I opened, so not knowing any better, I just dumped the whole thing in the tire and sealed it up, not realizing I had sealed up valve parts in my tires! The second one I opened had in intact inner bag, so I realized my mistake. I had to break the bead on the first tire to get the valve parts out! I haven't driven on them yet, so not sure how well they work, but thought folks she be forewarned about the packaging issue.
Excellent tool! We use this often to install bead balancing on preassembled tires on trailers and trucks. It does have a learning curve (cant feed it too fast) but once you figure it out, it is perfect for the job. Just ordered a replacement in Aug '22, the replacement came preassembled and the hoses were backwards, a simple fix.
Very easy to use. Cannot rush the installing of the beads through the valve stem.As they will log jam up. Slow and stead fill with positioning the valve stem at the bottom of the wheel. Not sure if this would work well with TPMS wheel sensors. Would probably be better to have the tires broken of their beads by a automotive shop and put in that way.
Fast shipping!!!
