This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins plug-in simple vehicle wiring harness with the four-pole flat trailer connector. This product fits a 2001 to 2002 Toyota Sequoia. It's going to provide a four-way flat at the back of the vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. This is compatible with five-pole, six-pole, and seven-pole adapters. Adapters are sold separately, and it's going to come with a dust cap for the four-way flat connector. That way, you can cover up the connection points when it's not being used. Now, this unit's going to connect quickly and easily.
You don't have to worry about cutting or splicing any wires. Just locate the connection points at the rear of the vehicle. You're only going to have, actually, one connection point that's going to be located behind the rear bumper. Locate that, plug in this port right here to the connection point on the vehicle. It's going to snap lock together for a nice, tight, secure fit, and then, really, once your install is complete, the four-way connector is going to be stowed beneath the vehicle near the trailer hitch. We do want to recommend using a mounting bracket to keep it secured and easily accessible.
Mounting brackets are sold separately. It's also recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all your electrical connections, like the plugs on the vehicle and the four-pole connector itself. Perfect fit - ez install - option to include wire loom( kinda corrugated firm plastic that houses the wiring would be great edition.) I ordered 1/2 wire loom separately from amazon- done deal
Very well done!! 2 boxs!!! The first one showed up smashed from the delivery system and it's was taped back up without anything in it. So these guys sent me a new one in not only a bigger box but did it in 2 boxes this time around and everything was perfect! Way to fix the problem!!!
