Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, near the center of your vehicle.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Hopkins Four-Way Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness for your factory tow package. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2002 to 2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the factory four-way tow package. Basically, this harness provides this four-way flat trailer connector for the back of your vehicle to power your trailer signal lights.
It is designed for use with the factory tow package, and it is compatible with the five-pole, six-pole, and seven-pole adapters that we do sell separately. Now, this part does connect very quickly and easily. There's no cutting or splicing of wires. Basically what you'll do is locate the factory tow package connection point that sit behind the rear bumper near the center of the vehicle, and then you'll plug in this key connector here that'll match the plug on your vehicle, and then you run the four-way end out towards the rear of the vehicle. Length on this core is about three feet.
They do use protective connection terminals or resist corrosion. Do you notice it does include this dust cover for the four-way So all you have to do is attach that to the four-way. And once you get it attached, you can actually leave it attached, and then when you're not plugged into your trailer, just put the cap on there to protect the terminals from any damage or from the elements. Also comes with a couple cable ties, take up any slack in the wiring, and a package of terminal grease that you wanna put on all the electrical connections when you put this all together. But that should do it for review on this Hopkins Four-Way Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness for the factory tow package.
