The legs are angled beyond the platform of the step to increase stability. The leg tips are made of rubber to keep the step from moving beneath you, and they are angled 30 degrees to ensure full contact with the ground. Together, these unique features make up the anti-tip design which ensures that the step remains stable and won't wobble or tip, even if you stand on the very edge of the platform. Another safety feature is the non-slip strips on the step platform, which provide traction even in wet weather.

Old people must be certain of our footing. This step is of extreme engineering and construction. We do not hesitate, look down, nor guess when stepping out our MH. It is made so clean and attractive that I can fold to its minimum height and store inside under dinette for foot rest by small grand kids and my beautiful short wife. It’s there ready to use for those short breaks at rest stops. This is only step to buy !
Just what we needed. It is a nice sturdy first step into our camper. I like that the legs adjust so we can get the height right and level it on uneven ground. We have a dog so I used Velcro to attach an outdoor mat cut to size so her toes would not get into the openings. I love the large size so there is a good, solid landing area when coming down the steps. I did cut 4 tennis balls to cover the 4 legs when they are folded. The part of the leg that is permanent and sticks out when the legs are folded is very hard when you bang it against your leg, plus we store the step inside our camper when traveling and did not want it to scratch or rub on anything. It would be nice if it came with some sort of bumpers to use on those projections when the legs are folded.
This safety step really fit my purpose. My trailer was set up on a sloping surface, making the lower trailer step rather high off the ground. I was able to adjust the height of the safety step but also compensate for the slope of the ground. This is a quality product!
It's everything they said it was and more. I purchased this to REPLACE the under the frame drop down step on my Aliner Ranger because it reduces clearance when pulling it on some dirt roads and routes. This step is the ticket, especially with the independently adjustable legs making the step able to be level when the ground is not.
Very solid step in addition to being relatively light weight. I love the individually adjustable legs. My only complaint is that the legs can be difficult to adjust. They tend to stick when trying to slide them. I am experimenting with finding a lubricant that will fix the issue. Even with this issue, I would buy it again.
Excellent product. Non-skid surface, especially along the edges, is good. My only wish is that the legs could extend one more notch of adjustment, but perhaps they wouldn't fold up flat then, or the load rating would go down. It met my needs in every other way.

The only thing I would add would be a position lock of some kind for when the legs are folded flat: they tend to flop out with gravity if you carry the platform with the legs on the bottom.
We are so glad we purchased the stool, it very stable and sturdy. The 24” platform on top of stool is very useful and a tremendous safeguard entering and exiting RV. It is also very helpful for bad knees and hips due to width and height of stool. We have disengaged the kwikee step on our RV when we arrive at our campsite and only use this stool. Excellent product!!
Perfect step for our motor coach.....the width is same as our steps so no worry about stepping off and/or missing. Very solid, durable construction. Have not used it yet, but have no doubt it will meet and/or exceed our expectation.

I bought this step platform for my mother's 85th birthday. She really, really likes it.
We use it to safely enter and exit my truck and around the house as a need arises.

The Safety Step is just what we wanted to eliminate the sometimes awkward first step at an unlevel campsite. It has performed flawlessly for a year now and I am extremely pleased with the quality and ease of use. Great product, great service from e-trailer.
Great product. Very well built. The adjustable leg lengths work well on uneven ground. They fold up for storage but when folded I put it on a rug just inside the entry door so I don't have to dig it out of storage. Non-slip surface is a plus, especially with grandkids. I removed the stupid Solid Step that folded up into the trailer dumping sand, dirt, and snow on my floor not to mention that I couldn't get in the trailer when parked close to something. This Safety Step makes up the difference between the ground and bottom step of the 3-step folding unit I installed. Glad I bought the 24 x 16 step instead of the smaller one.
This is a heavy duty step which is as it should be. It is also a large step, but matches the width of the existing trailer step. It fills our needs quite nicely. Be aware that the leg adjustment distances are minimal, and the adjustable portion of the legs come completely off of the step quite easily.

The step has done its job quite nicely. It has proven durable and easy to store when not in use. The anti-skid coating is fairly aggressive and gloves are not a bad idea when handling.
This step is very sturdy and stable. Used identical one all last summer as my last step as my back entrance was in a bit of a drop off.

Royce never responded to my email with a question regarding an issue on a product when I called William took excellent care of me in resolving it and getting a new replacement. I would give him a 10 if you had a 10 star rating system.
Product is as advertised heavy duty, sturdy, good nonskid. My only concern was every corner of box was damaged though no damage to step.
Needed a step to help get an elderly parent with limited mobility into and out of my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. Needed it quickly so paid for the expedited shipping. The order process was easy, the item was delivered on time, and the quality of the product is superb! It is easy to use, easy to store, and It looks like it will last forever. It is extremely stable on grass, asphalt, gravel, and concrete. Great buy!!!!
The product does not work well for us. The adjustment features stick if they work at all. The legs do not easily fold out; they want to stick too. We like e-trailer and appreciate their great customer service and selection of products. This one however is disappointing and I would not recommend it.
The unit arrive packaged in a larger box with packing pager (aling with another item), but the steps box had some corner damage where the corners had slightly pushed through.
Found one of the corners had been bent I assume through impact somewhere in transit to where the leg would not fully engage and lock in.
Fortunately I was able to use a pair of pipe pliers and gently bend the corner back into place so the leg will now slide into place and lock in allowing the step to be usable. Hopefully it has not weakened that support point to cause failure laer.
Otherwise, the product seems to be very robust and sturdy and well sized to use as a step out of our cargo-trailer conversion. I like the latching nature of the legs as well as how they lock into the deployed position and the unit has sufficient weight to make sure it stays where you put it, but not so much as to be a burden to pack up and move later
The Safety Step adjustable platform is a well-designed and made product that has served us well on our RV travel over the past year. We use it primarily as a transition step from the ground to first step of the trailer, particularly when the first step is high due to an unlevel camp site. First and foremost, it is very sturdy. It also provided a nice platform for me to change shoes as I transition in and out of the trailer. Because this platform is adjustable, it can be adjusted closely match the rise as the trailer steps, therefore reducing tripping hazard on and off the steps.
This step is well worth the cost! You can find one on-line for $60-$100. If yo want a heavy duty, adjustable, foldable lite Aluminum step with a power coated finish and anti-slip traction tape that will not flip when you step on it or slip, this is the one.
Just what I was looking for. I have a small travel trailer with a narrow entrance. This step placed on the ground in front of the trailer step gives me a solid platform to step up/down from the doorway. Especially helpful when carrying things.
I have the step in 57 limestone gravel in the photos, and the step doesn't move at all. Very stable.

100. Needs drain holes drilled at factory before painting- when you pick it up to travel the legs hold water. I drilled mine but that’s a rust area now This step is all anyone should ever buy.
