When heavy gear or equipment weighs down the front end, the vehicle can sag and throw off steering and braking. This Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 1,800 lbs of load support to keep things level. The hollow rubber springs work with your factory suspension to maintain ride height and improve handling under front axle load. You get a more stable feel, better steering response, and reduced tire wear when you’re carrying serious weight up front.
Uneven pavement and bumps can make a loaded vehicle pitch and bounce. Timbren’s hollow rubber springs compress progressively—the folds collapse first for a softer hit, then stiffen as weight increases. That design cushions light loads while preventing bottoming out on rough terrain. The result is a smoother, more comfortable ride that soaks up road shock and keeps your suspension from taking a beating.
When you corner hard or hit uneven ground, body roll can take over fast. Each Timbren spring works independently, so one side engages only when needed. This helps keep the vehicle balanced through turns, limits sway in crosswinds, and compensates for off-center loads without affecting the opposite side. You feel more control whether you’re loaded evenly or not.
Installing load support shouldn’t turn into a big project. This system includes 2 Aeon hollow rubber springs, vehicle-specific brackets, and hardware for simple bolt-on mounting—no drilling required. It replaces the factory bump stops on the frame and is ready to work right away with your existing suspension system in good condition.

I hear you, and that makes sense based on what you’re describing. If the Timbrens are in constant contact, they’re basically always engaged, which is why the front end feels so stiff instead of only firming up under load. You might actually be a really good candidate for SumoSprings part # SSF-281-47 (as long as your truck is a 2WD) They’re a similar concept but made from a softer, more progressive material, so they compress more gradually instead of feeling like a hard stop. That usually gives you support when you need it without taking away all the ride comfort like you’re experiencing now. Glad to hear the install went smoothly and the quality was there, that’s pretty typical with Timbren, it just comes down to how they behave on your specific setup. What were you mainly trying to improve up front, sag, handling, or just a smoother ride overall?
