Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro rear axle airbag suspension kit with internal jounce bumpers and stainless steel hardware. Now, this kit is designed to fit your 2015 to current Ford E-Series cutaway, the E-450, and then your 2008 to 2014 Ford Van E-450. Now, on custom fit parts, such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and answer any other questions that it might have for you, and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So, as you know, when the load gets heavy, your vehicle is going to need more than just the rear sprains hanging on for dear life. These airbags are going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your vehicle level and steady even when your trailer is loaded or your cargo area is packed. So, with this kit, you're not gonna have to worry anymore about rear-end sag drawing off your braking and steering or your headlights pointing up to the sky. Now, bottoming out doesn't just feel rough, it can actually wreck your airbags. So that's why this system includes jounce bumpers inside of each bag, as you can see on that example cutaway there on your screen.
So, even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. You're gonna be able to safely run at zero PSI when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just that smooth factory-style ride. So this kit includes the stainless steel braided lines. They're gonna be more durable and resistant to wear compared to the standard rubber lines. You're also going to get these stainless steel roll plates, which are gonna help protect the airbags, along with Schrader valves that are stainless steel, so you're gonna be able to easily inflate or adjust the air pressure using a standard air source.
So obviously, the stainless steel components are gonna be a big upgrade. And on your screen, I wanted to pop up a few more photos there. What you're going to be getting is actually the original hardware that you see there at the top photo, and then you're going to get the stainless steel upgrade kit that you see there at the bottom. So you're gonna get everything that you see there in those photos. Obviously, you're not going to use all the hardware that you're gonna be getting.
You're not gonna be using the original roll plates, you're gonna be using the stainless steel ones. So what you're gonna basically be doing is taking the stainless steel kit that's included here and just replacing with stainless steel those original parts that are comparable to what comes with the stainless steel. So, for example, if I'm not making myself clear enough, instead of using the original roll plates, you'll use the stainless steel roll plates, you'll use the stainless steel braided lines, and you'll use all the stainless steel hardware to connect everything, the roll plates and the brackets, to the airbag itself. So again, that's what you're gonna be getting. You won't be using all the hardware. But I wanted you to have an idea of what to expect when the box comes to you on your porch. So again, the stainless steel is gonna be a big upgrade. It's built to last harsh conditions. It's gonna resist rust and corrosion much better than standard materials. And the stainless steel is stronger and less prone to damage, so you're less likely to deal with leaks or wear over time. But every haul is different. That's why these air springs give you full control over your ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from five to 100 PSI. So, for instance, if you're hauling a fifth wheel or a full bed of gravel, crank that pressure up. If you're unloaded and heading home, drop it back down for a softer ride. With the manual inflation valves included, tuning your suspension for the day's work's gonna be easy. Now, these springs are built with one-inch-thick corrosion-resistant end caps, and they're reinforced with 20 internal support wires for maximum strength under load. As you can see, I do kind of have them loosely put together, the airbags, the roll plates, and the brackets, just to give you an idea of what everything's gonna look like together here. These brackets are precision laser-cut brackets, so they're designed to bolt cleanly to your vehicle's existing mounting points. So you're not gonna have to worry about welding or drilling or anything like that. And again, this is gonna give you up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support. But just be aware of the fact that this does not actually increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limits. If you need help with installation, we have you covered.
