Nothing feels worse than a rig that leans hard through turns or rocks from side to side. The solid 1" diameter 4140 chromoly bar ties the rear suspension together for a more balanced, planted feel. With two adjustment holes, you can tune the stiffness to your preference—whether you want a softer, more compliant ride or a firmer setup that really locks things down in corners.

Instead of soft rubber, this setup uses polyurethane bushings that resist oil, gas, and ozone. They stay firm and supportive longer, keeping performance consistent mile after mile. The bar itself is made from thick 4140 chromoly steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant silver vein hammer tone powder coat, with black powder-coated brackets for extra protection.

This wave bar is designed to fit your Tacoma and work in conjunction with its suspension system. This bar is gonna help minimize that side-to-side movement, improving the overall stability of your truck. This system is going to let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence, giving you a level ride even on irregular surfaces. This is also going to help reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your truck in line. And then it's also going to help diminish the effects of crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo.
Now, this anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion, giving you a marked improvement in the stability of your truck. Now, hopefully you can see here, along the sides, we do have these two adjustment holes, and those holes are gonna allow you to choose the degree of stiffness. The holes that are closest to the bar is going to be the stiffest setting, and the holes farthest from the bar are gonna be the softest so you do have that range of adjustability. These bushings that are included are made of polyurethane instead of the standard rubber variety for a longer lasting system. They're durable and they're resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone.
So less wear means less give in the system and better overall support. The diameter of this bar is one inch. It is made here in the USA of solid heat-treated chromoly steel, giving you that superior strength. And I would like to zoom in overhead to give you a closer view of this finish. This bar features a silver vein hammer tone finish, which not only gives you that protection from corrosion, but the finish actually has little divots in it, so when you grease your polyurethane bushings and you slide them on the bar, this finish is gonna do a great job of holding that grease in the bushings to prevent them from squeaking.
This does include everything that you see here. You're gonna get some hardware here, you're gonna get some bushing lubricant, and then instructions to guide you through that installation process. Nice product, e trailer was great, very good service
The sway bar itself is a '5'on my 2025 F150, but the install instructions are all over the place (a '3'). It took me about 5 hours to finish installing it, between the youtube videos and the instructions. I'm sure it would be faster if I did another.
The issue I ran into was some part placement on the axle to work around the brake lines and the best process to level it. Leveling was in the videos, but not in the written directions. Also - when you torque down on the bushings to spec, it squeezes them a bit more that looks "kosher". Some better guidance on that would help.
In all - I did notice an improvement on cornering with/without a load and feel it is a benefit.

Easy installation on Ram 1500 classic 2wd. Took about 1.5 hrs including the test drive. Didn't have to jack the truck up, just crawled under and bolted it in.

Nice product However the instructions are terrible! The written instructions have been copied so many times they are basically unusable. The accompanying video left out many important details causing a much longer instal time than necessary. We had to uninstall more than once do to correct the incomplete installation video.
I haven't installed this kit yet, but the quality looks very decent and quality. The kit is complete. The only issue is that I have an 8.8 axle, but the brackets are for a 9.75, however, I think that if I tighten everything down correctly, it should install just fine. Thanks.
I only recently learned my 2023 1500 ram, which includes the tow package, uses a hollow sway bar. Disappointed in Ram.
Using the outer most setting made a significant difference over the original equipment. In fact the difference is so noticeable I’m going to fireplace the front sway bar as well.
I put a really heavy truck camper on my 2017 ram 2500 6.7 hemi and it took turns ok but it would rock side to side a couple times over bumps and uneven roads. I wasn't sure if this would make a difference because the factory one looked pretty big but it made a huge difference. This and airbags are a must for heavy loads.
I also go it a day sooner then I thought.

Solid, sturdy and well built anti-sway bar. I installed it on my 2024 Ford F150 without removing the spare tire and the install went fairly easy. It did take some time as I was.doing it myself. An extra set of hands would make it a bit easier. Love how solid my truck feels and drives now.
I installed the 1 inch adjustable anti-sway bar on my 2026 ram rebel and it works great. Even though I only put it on the least aggressive setting, the truck handle so much better through the turns now that it did before. I will test it to a 7000 pound trailer in the next couple weeks. . Definitely recommend!. Also, E trailers Service was super friendly and super fast. I received the Hellwig antisway bar in two days after ordering
This is a heavy duty sway bar. The installation was straight forward and simple.
I used the middle adjustment hole as I wanted to tow an RV. I took it on an initial test drive. This unit completely got rid of the body roll. Well please and know that a little hint, wear gloves when apply the lubricant as that is gooey!
Easy installation
Haven’t towed with it yet so not sure how much it will help the sway with a 31ft travel trailer.

For the second time in a row ordering from etrailer, either parts were missing from my order or shipping was a problem. The sway bar works fine, once I got the right parts to install it.
Upon receiving the box which came on time, I took all the pieces out to make sure I got everything I needed. Two 7/16-20 21/4 inch bolts were missing. I called Hellwig customer support and they promptly sent the replacements. The bolts were not packed with the rest of the installation materials. I also want to say that the top of the box was torn open. Many of the heavy staples had come out. The box inside was torn open and a couple of pieces had slipped out. Also someone trampled over the box because there were boot marks all around the box. Very poor quality in delivery service even though it came on time. Important parts could have fallen out and delayed installation. Not very good delivery service.
When lifting a jeep, body roll, increases due to the mechanical advantage of the chassis over the factory sway bars. This larger and adjustable sway bar helps correct that issue and allows for fine-tuning to driver preference.
Application was a 2015 Tacoma.
Install was easy enough. For others that may read this, it would be wise your spare tire to make certain there is no interference with the sway bar.
I have a 33" spare tire, I had to make new adjustments after I tried to put spare tire back up. Infact, May be wise if you have room to leave the spare tire in and work accordingly.
The install is new, sediments are a bit subjective as to difference. But driving while unloaded I get a bit surprised that the Tacoma tracked really well around a curve. Folks at E- Trailer were great.
I really like the fitment and performance of the product. I have installed a Hellwig anti-sway bar on my last 3 trucks and always feel an improvement the way the truck handles cornering and when pulling a load, especially when there is a cross wind.

It's an amazing improvement over the stock sway bar. I don't see any need to use the outer attachment point. It gives you plenty of bar at the lower setting. The mounting hardware and bushings are much better than the stock attachment bracket and bushings. The truck stays flat in a curve. Bottom line: Just buy it!
