When you hook up a small trailer or pack a bed full of gear, the rear end can dip and throw off your handling. The Hellwig Load Pro 15 helper springs add up to 1,500 lbs of support to your factory leaf springs to keep your ride level and steady. They stop sagging when towing or hauling light loads so steering and braking feel confident, and your suspension works like it should.
Uneven roads or shifting cargo can make your truck sway or bounce more than it should. These custom helper springs flex with your factory leafs to limit body roll and reduce bounce while keeping the vehicle planted. The result is better stability when you're hauling through curves or rough pavement.
Not every trip carries the same weight, and these springs adjust to match. The U-bolts can be tightened or loosened to handle different loads, and you can fine-tune the driver’s and passenger’s sides separately if your cargo isn’t perfectly even. That way, you always have balanced support where it’s needed most.
A suspension upgrade is only as good as its build quality, and this kit is designed for long service. The helper springs are made from durable steel with a silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish that resists corrosion. Mounting hardware is included for an easy bolt-on install above your factory leaf springs, so you can add support without cutting or welding.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at these Hellwig Load Pro 15 Load Leveler Helper Springs. Now, these have been designed to fit your 2004 to 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, and then your 2006 to 2008 Isuzu I-Series Pickup. Now, on custom-fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our Fit Guide will confirm if this will work for you, or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, these custom helper springs have a load-leveling capacity of 1,500 pounds.
They're gonna install above your truck's rear factory leaf springs to help reduce sway and body roll, while preventing sagging when towing or hauling light loads. They're also going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires and brakes. So, these springs are gonna flex with your leaf springs to limit bouncing while giving you optimal stability. Now, this is gonna be a bolt-on installation, above your factory leaf springs, as I said, with the included hardware. And I kind of put it together loosely just to kind of give you an idea of what it's going to look like when it's installed, and with the hardware in place where the hardware's gonna go.
The U-bolts can be adjusted to suit different loads. The driver's and the passenger's sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. And these springs are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, and that's gonna help ensure long life and lasting performance. They do feature a silver vein hammer tone powder-coat finish that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion. You don't want to install this on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs because these springs are so robust, they will break or fracture those composite or plastic leaf springs.
Again, the weight capacity is 1,500 pounds. But be aware of the fact that these helper springs do not actually increase your truck's weight-carrying capacity, and Hellwig does give you a lifetime warranty. If you do pick these up, we would love to hear back from you regarding how these are working out for you. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. But I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Thank you for joining me.

Had problems but they straightened it out fast
Delivered quickly, all parts were there, installed with ease.
I was looking at the product that is rated for 6,000lbs, but I read the reviews and a guy had the same truck as mine and he said the ride was too ruff. I decided to go with this Load Pro 15 and it works great. The ride is a bit more tight and I like it...
I actually ordered these after I lowered my vehicle, I found when I have passengers in the vehicle the back tires would rub on hard turns and bumbs. So I installed these helper springs and they work great, the rear leafs dont sag now and its alot stiffer for my trailer and when I have a load in the vehicle.
Thay work great and easy to install!!!
The u-bolt plates hole where misaligned by a little over 5/8" overall, they where set apart to far. I had to use a cabinet but to slot the holes to allow the u-bolt to pass through the plates. The average person would not have the tools to do this. I don't know if they sent the wrong parts of it's a design fault. But installation went from 10 minutes to about an hour. Definitely something they might want to look into.
