Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 9005ST Halogen Headlight Bulbs, or SilverStar, with 65 watts. You're gonna get two of these with purchase. So, folks, these do replace your standard equipment. It's a nice 65 watt halogen headlight bulb. It's the same fit as the OEM specifications.
It does produce a wider and brighter beam and defined edge at distance with greater contrast than your standard bulbs. It is recommended that you replace bulbs in pairs, that way, both sides are number one, the same brand, the same color rating, the same consistent light level and everything. So, it's a very simple plug and play. You would have us unplug your factory plug, plug it back in here after you've pushed it in and rotated it to lock it in place in the headlight assembly. So, follow the instructions from your OEM Manual if you're not sure, or watch some videos online and just read the instructions that come with it and you should be good to go.
Now, it's also recommended you never touch the glass on the bulb itself with your bare hands, so being very careful to just touch the plastic. We recommend wearing some gloves maybe whenever you're changing out the bulbs, just to be extra safe because the oils from your skin could transfer onto the glass, and just keep it from lasting as long as it possibly could, so just keep that in mind. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look today at our Sylvania 9005SS Halogen Headlight Bulbs. I'm Steven, have a good one.

I’m a big fan of these bulbs. They have a bit more of a daylight color to them. The factory bulbs were more of a warm color. The brightness difference was noticeable immediately, especially in the garage. We took a test drive and noticed the difference a little bit, but I’m still happy with them.
In the attached photo, I replaced the passenger side light first to show the color difference.
The install on a 2019 Kia Sorento was extremely easy. You just twist the bulb cover off, twist the socket out and pull out the bulb, then do everything in reverse. Very easy.
