Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Hellwig Load Pro 35 Heavy-Duty Helper Springs. Now, these springs have been designed to fit your 2001 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra 3500s, then your 2007 Silverado and Sierra, both the classic and the new body 3500s. On custom-fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer.com. Simply input the year, make and model of your vehicle, and our Fit Guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So, these custom helper springs have a load leveling capacity of 3,500 pounds, and they're going to install above your truck's rear factory leaf springs to help reduce sway and body roll, while preventing sagging when you're towing heavy loads, and they're going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires and brakes.

So, these springs actually flex with your leaf springs to help limit bouncing while giving you optimal stability. And this is going to be a bolt-on installation, again, above your factory leaf springs with the included custom installation kit, and as I hope you can see, I kinda have everything here loosely installed, and this is basically what it's gonna look like when you have it installed into place. Got the U-bolts and everything here, so just kind of just loosely installed just to show you what these are are going to look like. So, the driver's and the passenger's side can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. Now, a few things I wanna point out.

If your truck is equipped with a brake fluid proportioning valve, these constant rate springs are not recommended. Only progressive rate helper springs should be used in that case, and if your truck is equipped with a factory contact overload and may need to be removed before installing these new helper springs, of course, you wanna consult your installation guide, and then you don't want to install these springs on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs, because these springs are so robust, it could fracture or damage or break those composite or plastic leaf springs. Now, these are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, so that's going to ensure long-lasting performance, and they do feature this silver vein hammer tone finish that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion. Again, the weight capacity is 3,500 pounds, but I do wanna make you aware of the fact that these helper springs do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, so you wanna make sure you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit. Instructions are also included to guide you through the installation process.
