Features to know about

Keep the Rear End Level: Up to 1,000 lbs of Load-Leveling Support

Heavy loads can make the rear sag and throw off braking, steering, and headlight aim. Air Lift 1000 air helper springs add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support right inside your rear coil springs, helping your suspension hold steady under weight. They keep your vehicle level when you’re hauling or towing so handling feels predictable and the ride stays stable mile after mile.

Smooth Out the Ride: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi – 35 psi

Every load is different, and these air springs adjust to match it. You can manually inflate or deflate them between 5 psi and 35 psi for the exact support you need. Keep them firm when carrying heavy cargo or towing to control squat and sway, then drop them down for a softer ride when unloaded. Run dual air lines if you want to level out uneven side-to-side loads.

Simple DIY Install: Fits Inside Rear Coil Springs

Installation is straightforward with standard tools—no exotic gear needed. The molded polyurethane air springs slip right inside your existing rear coil springs, with included tubing, Schrader valves, heat shields, and hardware. Inflation valves can mount on the bumper or wherever access is easiest. Add an optional compressor system later if you like in-cab control and automatic air adjustment.

Reliable Support That Lasts: Durable Molded Polyurethane Design

Built from tough molded polyurethane, these helper springs are made to hold air pressure without leaks and handle real-world load cycles. The design helps reduce tire wear and suspension strain while absorbing road shock for a more stable ride. With proper air pressure set for each haul, your suspension stays healthy and your load feels balanced trip after trip.

2016 Ford Flex
I installed this on my 2016 Ford flex. It prevented the car from sagging while towing a trailer. So it did the job but there is absolutely no way this could have been installed the way it was advertised. The only way to install it was to free the springs from the vehicle and slide it from the bottom of the springs. Also, one of valves was manufactured poorly (it didn't have the hole to push the air into). Because of that, I wasn't able to pump the air helpers independently. My workaround was to install the "T" so both air helpers are pumped via one valve.
In other words, it does the job, but the installation was much more difficult than advertised and one of the valves wasn't usable.

It sounds like one of the air bags is defective. Not to worry, this product has a 60 day worry free guarantee. We will contact you via email.

2700 lb gross wt popup had made vehicle sit down excessively when lowered onto hitch. Installing these air bladder helpers inside the rear coil springs made a great difference. Did try to install myself but getting bag up inside spring proved to be too much of a challenge. Hired a local shop to do tay (had attached the feed lines w/ clamps to each bladder 1st. After shop installed bladder, I connected the individual feed lines to the "T" whose primary tube led to air valve mounted on bumper.

Exactly, what I was looking for. And even with the free shipping, it arrived very fast...like 2 days! Have not yet installed.

J'ai eu quelques difficulté a intoduire le ballon dans le coil spring, mais j'adore les ballons qui évite de trop faire tanguer la roulte de haut en bas.
[Translation: I had some difficulty installing the bags into the coil springs. I love the product as it prevents the rear of the vehicle from bouncing.]

2014 Ford Flex
Fits perfectly on my 2014 Flex Limited. The holes in the rear subframe allow for the airbag to rise and seat in the center of the spring with plenty of room for the top air inlet. Best to use zip ties and compress the airbag as much as possible, then cut them off once it is inside spring.
by:
The package is great the springs on the Flex are tight so it was a bear…doable…but a bear
Was able to get the air bag inserted into the spring without dropping the spring, but it takes patience and hand strength
But everything is working well

Could not get these squeezed between the coils on the Ford Flex, tried for 3 hours, and didn't want to dismantle the coils to get the bags in, ....tore one bag in the process, so I never used them.

It works better than expected. The headlights no longer point to the treetops when I attach my trailer and my front brakes have more stopping power because the truck is now level at all times.

Word of advice: It was WAY easier to just remove the coil springs and install the bags that way. (2016-2020 Kia Sorento)

Lift the rear end, remove wheel, disconnect the lower control arm, shock, and sway bar link. Take out the coil spring and insert the bag from the top. Reassemble in reverse order and torque bolts to spec. Much easier.

From that point it was just a matter of routing the air lines through the control arms, up through the subframe, over the spare tire, to the trailer hitch mount. Bags seem to hold air well and are holding up so far. Definitely made an improvement in handling around corners.

Note: There is a noticeable squeaking/noise from the rear end going over bumps at low speeds. Once you're on the pavement or up to speed it improves.

Loses one star for the noise and install. Otherwise not a bad product for the price, especially if you're the DIY type. I personally work on cars, so maybe it was a little easier for me.

Put these on my 2020 Equinox, it has a tow package and pulls my little Wildwood trailer just fine but with this airliift system it feels SOOOO much more stable!! It drives much less ‘mushy’ and handling is a dream. These are simple to install, perfect product for pulling with a light duty SUV, I am extremely impressed.

I have towed my RV several times over the last year and these helper springs work perfectly! I had a very small air leak but I added some silicone at the airline connections and it is 100 percent! I carry a battery powered air compressor with me and it’s basically a “set it and forget it” systems.

Works great on my 2000 Lexus LX470. I installed these to supplement my AHC deleted suspension. These were installed with Land Cruiser rear springs. Instructions were easy to follow. Routed separate air lines (did not use the y connector) above the frame and fitted the valves into existing holes on the bumper. Run them at 8-10 psi when I have gear in cargo area. Holds air perfectly.

Glad they are working well for you, Scott! I gotta ask, did you do the AHC delete as it was worn our or did you just not particularly like it? I've heard people do this for either reason.

@LazerS The AHC system was great when working optimally but mine was wearing out. The globes were starting to fail, both rear hydraulic shocks were weeping, and the ride was getting firm over small road imperfections. I decided to do the AHC delete for cost effectiveness, reliability, and possible future suspension upgrades.

2021 Jeep Wrangler
These air springs are one of the best investments you can make if you have a 4XE Wrangler. The battery pack is so heavy, I am finding after a couple of years the factory springs are getting too spongy and the body lean is more noticeable on the road especially cornering. Plus when you go over larger bumps the body sway is much more noticeable. I looked into an air spring set up but did not really want to spend several thousand dollars and I was surprised when I came across this set for under $[XX]. I was sceptical but thought, why not. They arrived in a small box and I was even more doubtful but when I opened it and took out the kit, I was impressed with the quality of the materials. I followed the instructions (with a few exceptions) and found them to be very easy to install. If you take your time with routing the air lines over the factory heat shields and carefully bring them to the rear drivers side, you can install them using the t connector. You can drill a hole through the thin part of the bumper right beside the license plate. There is just enough air line included to do this. The Schrader valve seats perfectly and makes it very convenient to add or bleed air from the system with only one adjustment. I set the springs at 12 psi and coupled with my after market adjustable shocks, I can make my Wrangler so smooth it feels more like a European SUV than a Jeep. Excellent product.

2005 dodge Ram Pickup
I knew going into this, this was going to be a pain to install. After 5 hours, I had to call a friend who was a mechanic to come over and help get the bags into the springs. We finally read enough reviews where people said to heat up the bags a little, fold them and zip tie them. This worked! But.....Here we are, they've been installed, traveled over 2000 miles with them in and let me tell you, the noise! OMG THE NOISE! Every bump, dip, hell - I think just for the fun of it - my car squeaks like a 1970's Cadi! I've used multiple Teflon lubricants, Bearings Grease and other various lubricants. NO, I didn't use WD40. You can hear me coming down the road the noise is that loud. I called Airlift as instructed and they advised me that they're not even showing that these are a match for my car although Etrailer does. The tech that I spoke to told me that if I've driven that much, with and without loads, adjusted the PSI (which I have. I've gone from 5-35psi as instructed. No matter where I am sitting, it is loud! For someone who is tone sensitive with high PTSD and ADHD/OCD - this is not working. Airlift said that there's a 60 day ride approval. I don't approve as I've gotten to the point that I don't even want to drive my 2025 car! Instead, I've been driving a 2005 van if I need to go to the store or anything. I've truly tried to let these be the savior of my needs, but I think I'm going to just bite the bullet and get a Gladiator or Ram.

Well, after going back and forth - basically it comes down to - 60 day drive warranty doesnt compute. So after spending $300 on install, now Im expected to spend another $300-$400 to have them removed to return them, oh and pay for return. So roughly $800 to get back $130. Ill chalk this up to understanding that if a product doesnt work out in any manner. To remove these, you have to take the rearend of the car off - shocks and springs - then try to get the bags out of a much smaller ending without damaging otherwise youll not refund. Basically no support, other than a were sorry.

@DonnieM Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're very sorry to hear how frustrating this has been for you, especially after the time, effort, and additional expense you invested into the installation. I do want to clarify that these Air Lift air bags are confirmed to fit your vehicle application, this has been confirmed through Air Lift. However, we completely understand that while a product may be compatible with a vehicle, that doesn't necessarily mean it will meet expectations in terms of ride quality, noise levels, or overall satisfaction. While I realize that doesn't change your experience, I do want to sincerely apologize that these air bags have not delivered the results you were expecting. We appreciate your feedback and the detailed information you've provided. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and I'm sorry this solution did not work out the way you had hoped.

Awesome Air Bag support for my rear springs for my 2014 Toyota Sienna 3.5" lifted van. It stopped rear sag with heavy loaf and body roll when driving.
by:
2015 Honda Odyssey
After installing I was very happy with the performance of the Air Lift kit.
A few notes I will highlight to help with install:
-When using the template, the hole is closer to the inside of the center of the van.
-Use a Step Drill bit to cut the hole in the lower control arm. I got mine from HF.
-Route the air hoses thru the lower control arms and zip tie them up along the rear subframe
-I sprayed with air bags with Lithium grease to keep any noises from occurring
-3d printed a bracket to hold the fittings on my rear hitch
