Are the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs Compatible With the 2012 Ford Taurus SEL

Question:

will the al60821 kit fit a 2012 taurus sel 2wd. if you check on air lift site it indicates only for sho. have you ever installed a kit in an sel model? if so what kit no. thanks

I spoke with my contact at Air Lift and he notified me that the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs, # AL60821, will work on your 2012 Ford Taurus SEL 2wd if your rear suspension has coil springs.

I did some research on your vehicle and it looks like it should have independent rear multi-link suspension with stabilizer bar and coil springs, so you should have no problem using these air springs. I would recommend verifying the suspension on your vehicle before making a purchase just to be sure what you have on your specific vehicle.

You should be able to find the type of suspension in your owners manual, you can call a dealership and they can tell you based on your VIN or you could look under your car and see if you have coil springs on your rear axle.
