Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our small cargo quick base system for your roof, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So this is part of the Inno quick base system where, as long as you get an Inno quick base, you can mount your different cargo accessories to your roof or to your hitch super quickly and easily. Now, this is gonna consist of two components where we have our quick base tray for the roof and we have our gear carry six cubic foot cargo box. So this is gonna be one of my favorite kits available here at Etrailer just because it makes for a very portable system. It does sit on the smaller sides in terms of cargo space, but that's just what you get for having something that's very easy to move around.

So if you're curious about the gear carry box or the tray, we definitely have those pictures and videos available for you. Now, something I would like to focus on for the RAV4 is the first thing you do need for the system is a roof rack. So we also have those available for the RAV4, but you do have to make sure that they fit within that 31-inch spread in order to use your tray. So this does have a weight capacity of 110 pounds with this box, which is on the lower side for roof-mounted boxes.

But on the other hand, since this does take up less space on your roof, this frees up the other side for other accessories. So if you wanna carry around a kayak or roof-mounted bike racks, you can on your RAV4, because there's plenty of space for both. For the spaces will take up on your roof rack, that's gonna be 28 inches when it comes to width. For the lengths, I'm not too concerned about that because it does sit very short, we'll still be able to open up your hatch and see out of your front window, no problem. Now, the height it sits at, I measure from the top of the crossbars to the top of the box, that's gonna be 12 inches that you're gonna have to consider.

So if you have a low garage, things hanging from the roof, you do have to be mindful of that, especially when you need to open up your box, you have to make sure that there's clearance around you for that access. So when looking for different options to carry cargo on top of your RAV4, this depends on how familiar you are with it in a quick base system. If you're just looking for a cargo carrier, there are definitely a bunch of rooftop boxes available for your vehicle that are gonna be larger as well as more affordable. But if you're looking within the quick base system because of how easy and portable this is, those other rooftop boxes, you're not able to remove the box in the same fashion that this one does. Another thing about this too is that this box can be rolled around and even checked into your airports.

Now, on the other side, if you're looking for something that is a bigger box option, with the quick base, there is the Inno 11 cubic foot box, which works more as a larger rooftop box. You're still gonna have that same weight capacity though, so that is something to be mindful. Although the perks of this kit is, if you take off the box, you can still use the tray as a standalone tray with 150 pound weight capacity. So there's a lot of things to this kit. The main thing is that, if you want something portable and if you want something where it's very easy to take the box off and roll it around, this is gonna be a great kit for your RAV4, especially when used with other accessories. And hopefully, this video helps show you the different measurements as well as specs that you need to be mindful of with your specific vehicle.
