Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this K-Source Custom Driver's Side Extendable Manual Towing Mirror. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2007 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs, and because it fits so many different models, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this is an extendable towing mirror, you can see you can pull it out and extend it out about 4 1/2 inches. This will replace the factory's driver's side view mirror on your vehicle, so there's no need for any of the snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off or tighten them. This has a nice telescoping function, makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer, so that you can safely change lanes, pass, and park.

And just like this, as we showed you, just pull the mirror away from your vehicle, again, it'll go out about 4 1/2 inches, and that'll extend your line of sight. And then when you're done, if you're not using it, just push your mirror back into place when you're not towing. The mirror itself is a manual mirror face adjustment, just use your hand to adjust where you need it. Does have the built-in spotter mirror right down here at the bottom, which will reduce blind spots, and it is a hinge design, right here, you can see it's on a hinge, that allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or fitting into tight spaces. And the housing you can see is a nice durable plastic housing, has a nice black textured finish to it, it can even be painted if you want to match your vehicle.

We mentioned, this is custom fit for your vehicle, it is a simple no drill installation, has the same footprint and mounting point as your factory mirror, and this is for the driver's side mirror only. Few measurements on this, if we measure the mirror itself, the length of it is right at 10 3/4 inches wide, the height, seven inches tall, and then the distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle, so the vehicle would be here from the edge of the mirror, so when it's retracted like this, it's gonna be 18 inches, and when you pull it out, you extend it all the way, from here to here is gonna be right at 22 1/2 inches.
