What Rearview Mirror do I Need for My 2009 Ford Ranger?

Is this compatible with my 2009 Ford Ranger? It’s not extended cab, so I think it’s the base version?

Welcome to etrailer, I'm glad you found us!

Yes, the CIPA Rearview Mirror # CM33000 will work for your 2009 Ford Ranger.

Thank you for sending the pictures! Your cab style does not matter for this mirror, and I can see in your pictures that you have the wedge-style mounting button on the windshield that the # CM33000 is designed to attach to. The mirror will slide onto that existing button and secure in place with the set screw, so you will not need to remove the button that is already glued to your windshield.

Did you accidently hit off the old mirror, or did it melt off? I used to live out in the Desert in Californian and I once had one get so hot it melted off, didn't know they could even do that until that day.
