Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bars - RM-RBK25-RSSA

  • Steering Stabilizer
  • Roadmaster
  • Mounting Hardware Included

The sturdy steel spring on this stabilizer keeps your vehicle in line by constantly working to maintain its position. Mount it between the steering mechanism and the chassis for a tight connection that will minimize wander and correct oversteering.

Features:

  • Compensates for oversteering and returns your vehicle to center
    • Tempered steel spring works to return to its normal state - when compressed, spring pushes back into neutral position; when extended, it pulls back
  • Attaches to the steering mechanism on one end and to the chassis undercarriage on the other
    • Tight connection between these components keeps steering firm and controlled
  • Helps you to maintain control of your vehicle in the event of crosswinds, rut tracking, road edging or a tire blowout
  • Reduces road fatigue - stabilizer keeps you centered so that you don't have to work as hard to steer
  • Installs in approximately 1 hour with no drilling or welding
  • Includes stabilizer, custom mounting brackets, hardware and installation instructions
  • Made in the USA
  • Limited lifetime warranty

A variety of things can make your vehicle veer - crosswinds, uneven pavement, tire blowout. The key to a pleasant, and safe, driving experience is learning how to deal with these situations. Roadmaster's Reflex Steering Stabilizer works to return your vehicle to center when something happens that causes it to swerve or jolt. As a result, you won't have to oversteer in an attempt to stay in line, thus minimizing road fatigue.

The stabilizer attaches to your vehicle's tie rod on one end and to the frame on the other. A heavy-duty steel spring runs the length of the rod, constantly working to keep steering controlled. If you steer your vehicle one way and it gets pulled the opposite way, the spring will stretch momentarily and then quickly pull back to its normal state. If you oversteer your vehicle in the same direction it is already moving, the spring will compress for a moment but then push back out to its prior state. No matter how you steer or how the frame is pushed or pulled, your vehicle will always return to center.

  • Best Steering Stabilizer for a Winnebago Motorhome on a 2018 Ford F-53 Chassis
Hey Ron, thanks for reaching out! We have two different steering stabilizers for your motorhome on a 2018 Ford F-53 chassis; the Roadmaster Reflex and the Roadmaster Exact Center. The Exact Center was supposed to be an upgrade to the Reflex but after it's release Roadmaster is reverting back to the Reflex because the Exact Center wasn't working out very well. So for your application you'll want to go with the Reflex system that best matches the GVWR of your motorhome: - Up to 24,000...

The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes # RM-RBK6-RSSA is not the correct fit for your 2018 Tiffin V-10 Motorhome. The # RM-RBK25-RSSA is the correct fit and will correct your fit issue so you will just need the Custom Mounting Brackets for Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK25.

  • Recommended Steering Stabilizer For A 2019 Ford F53 Chassis
Hey Paul-andre, Since you're looking at a steering stabilizer I'm assuming that's what you were wanting? If that's the case then the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK22-RSSA would be a compatible fit for your 2019 Ford F53 chassis as long as its GVWR is under 24,000lbs and it has a V-10 engine. If it has a V-10 engine but is over 24,000lbs GVWR then you'll need the # RM-RBK25-RSSA instead. If you were referring to something else just let me know and I'd be happy to help.

  • Recommended Steering Stabilizer For A 2014 Thor ACE Motorhome
Without knowing the exact model of your 2014 Thor ACE Motorhome I can only speculate on the correct fitting steering stabilizer. Most likely your motorhome is built on a Ford F-53 chassis like most are, but I'd hate to have you purchase one and it be the wrong fit so you'll want to verify the chassis prior to purchase. If you do have a Ford F-53 Chassis then I have the following recommendations based on the GVWR of the motorhome: For a GVWR over 22,000lbs you'll need the Roadmaster Exact...

  • Suspension Enhancements for 2021 Thor Outlaw 38MB on Ford F-53
From the information available to me, the 2021 Thor Outlaw 38MB is constructed on a Ford F-53 chassis, please confirm this for your specific vehicle. For the F-53 chassis motorhome and suspension upgrades my preference is to suggest Roadmaster items and I always start with the front and rear anti-sway bars followed by a steering stabilizer as first recommendations. For your 2021 Thor Outlaw 38MB on Ford F-53 Chassis, I suggest the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148. This...

Please verify this within your owners manual for your specific vehicle/motorhome and identify if you have the either the 22,000 GVWR or the 24,000 GVWR chassis. Going with a heavy duty Sumo Spring like part # SSR-187-54-1 is going to make the ride quality a lot better on your 2019 Newmar. I would always go with the stronger option because when you hit pot holes or go over curbs the ride quality is going to improve tremendously. Most people add sway bars as well. A sway bar makes the motorhome feel more solid while traveling down a windy road or while changing lanes. Part # RM-1139-149 is the correct rear sway bar for your application. Part #...

  • Could Steering Wheel Vibration Be Due To Loose Connections?
It sounds like there may be some "play" in the suspension parts. If it were pulling right or left, you would loosen the u-bolts pull forward a bit with the wheels straightened, then tighten the u-bolts up again using a torque wrench to the torque recommended in the installation guide. I know you said it was not pulling, but ensuring that the u-bolts are fully tightened is important. Also check all other bolts for proper torque. If you do not have a torque wrench, you can use the Powerbuilt...
