Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at our Utopia RV Bathroom Faucet. It's got a single lever handle, and it's got a nice matte black finish. So, folks, this faucet will let you replace or upgrade your bathroom's faucet in your RV or camper. It has a single lever-style handle over here on the side, and it has an up-and-over spout, whatever you wanna call it, which I like, 'cause if you're like me and you got big hands, a lot of bathroom sinks, it's hard to get your hands under there. With this being raised, now I can get my hands in the sink and have room to wash 'em.

I can shut the water off easily from the side. Now, theoretically, you could mount this, spin the handle on this side if you want whenever you mount it. It's totally up to you. It is a durable, one-hole, rustproof stainless steel construction, and a one-hole installation rather, and it has a concluded compression risers, the deck plate. This bottom part here is the deck plate.

When you tighten all this up, it looks like one piece. It's actually a couple pieces here. You've got some washers underneath, and this nice plastic set nut here that I'll take off here in a minute and show you. You will need to use some tile and tub caulk to install this. It's not included, it's sold separately.

Now, this has a WaterSense, aCUPC and NSF 61-9 compliancy. You get two gallons per minute. Overall dimensions. The height from the deck up is 7 1/8 inches tall, and a width if you're going sideways, counting this bottom flange all the way up to the outside, I was getting right at 7 11/16 inches wide. Now, this is a single lever style handle.

Like I said, it has a maintenance-free ceramic disc cartridge, and that disc creates a watertight seal when the faucet's turned off, and that's gonna prevent dripping. Now, I told you I was gonna take this off and show you. So, these two water lines are a braided metal and they are your standard connection size, I believe one 1/2 NPT. They are color-coded, so it may be hard to see, but this one has blue lines on it, that's for the cold, and this one has orange or red color notches, that's for hot. And like I said, it's a simple install. If you've never done these before, I really think you can do it. It's not too hard. You simply turn your water off, obviously, if you don't want any leaks. Once you've shut your water off, you can simply undo your old lines, hot and cold, and then you can mount this guy up in place. Now, this one has a pretty long thread on I notice, but that's gonna be a good thing. It's gonna accommodate multiple heights on your counters of the bathrooms. This little demo box here is only about 3/4 of an inch thick plywood, so. (nut rustling) Now, you can kinda see you've got that washer and everything. So, this is the main nut that holds it in place. It's got nice grip. There is another washer, one that's plastic and a rubberized one here. So, you've got those two washers, and then like I said, you have what's considered the deck plate. That's this ring here. Now, when you're installing this, just read the instructions. But basically, when you put this in, you're gonna put a thin layer of caulking, that's tile or tub caulk, like I said, that's sold separately. You wanna put a thin layer under that, then when you get this installed, you have a nice watertight seal up here, so water can never get down inside there. So, while I've got it off, I'll try to show you a little closer view real quick. And the aeration top there, and the threads for the installation. And like I said, you got red and blue marked on those lines. And again, they're a nice metal braided line, which is a pretty good upgrade. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up.
