Hello neighbors and friends. Today, we're looking at the Utopia RV Kitchen's Faucet with a Single Lever Handle in Matte Black. I'm Steven and let's get into it. So folks, this faucet here will let you replace or upgrade your kitchen faucet in your RV or camper. It is a single lever style handle as you see here. So you can go hot/cold, on/off, and it has inside of it a maintenance-free ceramic disc that's inside this whole housing here.
Now what that disc cartridge is gonna do, it's ceramic, it creates a watertight seal when the faucet is turned off, and it's gonna prevent dripping and leaking. Now everything here is a durable rustproof stainless steel construction with that matte black finish so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, those kind of things. It's what we call a one hole installation. So most kitchen falls, this used to have couple holes, and a centerpiece that you're used to. This way you just have to do one center hole.
Now you will need what's called a tile and tub caulk that's sold separately. You can get that here at etrailer.com or get it from your local hardware store or your local store. Now this is CUPC and MSF 61-9 compliant. As far as some quick dimensions, overall it is nine and a half inches wide, and approximately 15 inches tall from the deck or the top of your sink up to the top of the faucet. Now as you can see down here you have two hoses.
These are braided steel construction. You have lines on 'em. Red for hot, blue for cold. I'm gonna go ahead and pop this off real quick, and then we're gonna give you a closer look. So if you've never done an installation like this, you might wanna get a local plumber or handyman to do it for you.
But honestly, I think if you take your time, read the instructions, you won't have any problems doing it yourself, if you wanna try it out. So what we got going on here is you've got a couple of washers, and you've got a nut here. The nut has a slit in it. That way you can get it on or off. And again, I'm gonna give you a closeup look here in one second. And then you got again, your braided lines here. Now these are all standard connections, so they should match right up to your hot and cold connections that are underneath your faucet, and underneath your sink house. All right, so I'm gonna bring this up close for you real quick. So again, you've got hot and cold with the threaded ends. These are a steel braided line, that's a lot more durable than the plastic ones that are out there on the market. As you can see, again, this one has red lines. That's your hot water. And this one has the blue lines. That's your cold. You got the threaded part here. This is what's called your deck plate. What you're gonna do is, you'll put this on top of the sink. You'll put a little bit of that tile and tub caulk on this. That way when you put it down on the sink surface, and then it tightens down and makes a watertight seal in here. Then you got two washers, you got a rubber one, and a metal. Rubber always goes closest to the the faucet. So the rubber goes on first basically. And what you'll do is, you'll kind of pull one down shorter to fit 'em both through. And then you'll have those up in place under the sink. And then this guy here is your set nut, and it's got set screws as well, and it's got a slit. That way you can just come right over the cords here and put it on. Now what you would do is, you would tighten this up all the way, and then once you get it hands tight, you would then just kind of finish the tightness with these two set screws once you got it up in place. So again, very nice, elegant. You can see the black finish here over the stainless steel. There's a view of the aeration cap here. And again, the single handle lever on/off, hot/cold, depending on which way you turn it. And this guy could turn all the way around. As you can see when I spin this, it's not spinning the cords. That's actually something that a lot of faucets don't do. So that's just a little feature. So basically, if you wanna mount it with the handle on this side, or if you want to spin it, and have the handle mounted this way, you could technically do that. Just keep in mind your hot and cold, maybe backwards, depending on one side or the other. All right, folks. Well I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look today. Again, my name is Steven. Thanks for joining me.

We'd been looking for months for a replacement faucet for our year 2000 camper. After logging off all of my devices (to hopefully circumvent 'relevance'), I ran my search again and etrailer was one of the top results. Because the photos and video were precise, clear, taken from all angles and with detailed measurements, I was able to compare with my old faucet. I was so pleased that it was an exact fit!! I'll be using them again soon. We're still rehabbing this little camper and etrailer is now my go to spot for replacement parts.
Website was easy to use. For me the best part was the measurements of the faucets. It took the guess work out of knowing what would fit and match what we wanted. Installation went well. Love the look of it and it even gives us higher water pressure than our old one which was a nice surprise. Overall, I would definitely order from them again.
Quick delivery Installed and in action. Always great service and products from etrailer.com.
love this outdoor shower the quick disconnect is the best part. put this on the original trailer we had and put this same one on our new trailer. you can use any style hose you want because of the quick disconnect
Great looking faucet and excellent online support. My husband said that the “easy-on” screw on fittings might cause issues with the PEX fitting not completely seating. This was remedied by using the regular screw-on fittings. We love the look and quality of the faucet… very worth the extra money!
Trailer folks are just great! I chose a shipping method that wasn't an option for my address, and they called me right away to get it figured out. That's right, called me person to person. That is some awesome customer service right there! Oh yeah, the part was a perfect match too, took longer for the Teflon goop to dry than to install the fixture itself
Easy direct replacement for original wet bay faucet. Good quality product and gives you options for various attachments. I rigged mine to connect to the black tank flush to use when hose connection is unavailable.
I bought this because the faucet in our RV was very low and I wanted a faucet that had a higher outlet. It doesn’t go out very far into the sink, so, when washing your hands, water drips onto the counter top. I removed it and went back to the original faucet. I have since the found a swivel attachment that makes the water flow out further into the sink. I put this faucet back with the swivel and all should be fine.
All is good. Removed the OEM boring faucet in our Salem 33" TT and installed this one in it's place. All is good. No leaks, wife likes the powerful pull down spray head for rinsing dishes on our trips. Retracts no problem back up into housing. We just have to make sure no pots or whatever is directly under the weight and hose down under the sink. Seems of good quality. Would recommend. Nice price.
Pros
It fit perfectly. Good replacement for original. Faucet was in a better position compared to the original. Good replacement price.
Cons
The whole part is basically made out of plastic. Original kitchen sink faucet was all metal. This will probably work for some time, but since it’s mostly plastic, I expected to have issues in the future.
Faucet is excellent quality. I appreciate E-Trailer customer service! One year follow up....Wow!
Perfect replacement for the plain white fixture that came on the camper. 30 minute removal and install.
We have an old camper and we developed a leak on the bathroom facet. We could not find the facet for our camper anywhere. You your able to provide the perfect fit. Thank you.
The Utopia rv kitchen faucet with pull down spout was a great upgrade from the original faucet provided with our rv. My wife loves it and the install was simple and the provided installation instructions was easy to follow. I would highly recommend this faucet.
The one I received and installed today suffers from the same problem that others have encountered with this particular model: the hot water side has an issue that restricts the flow of water to the center pull-down spout. The cold water flow is just fine, and having reconnected the original faucet being replaced, both the hot and cold water flow just fine, and there is no issue with the hot water pressure. Unfortunately I will be returning this unit and asking for a refund.
Installation was easy, very similar to what I had. Camper is used about 3 months of the year, so far everything is great, no leaks.
It's the exact replacement on a 2017 Keystone Springdale. Fairly easy replacement. Most difficult part is the small amount of room for access to the two water feed lines. But very possible with patience. Also Be prepared to replace the seals at the inlet water lines with new ones. It would be good on the etrailer web site for this faucet to have the seals listed to add to your order.
There are two strainer screens within the faucet at the water inlet lines. Keep those screens in mind because they are prone to fouling up and obstructing water flow. When that happens you have to remove the whole faucet again to clean them.
Anyway the faucet is the perfect replacement and works great
The faucet looked nice but it didn't fit on top of the new sink I ordered as well as the 1/2" stems were too short so I had to send it back. I did attempt to attach it to see if it did fit but between the thickness of the new sink and my counter top no way would it work.
It was an amazing product exact fit no cutting or pre-measuring, the best part is the new shower valve works exceptional,
Ps..
Please don't laugh...
So glad we found this RV faucet and the price is awesome!
The faucet fit perfectly and is watertight right away. After a year of usage it’s still holding just fine. Very satisfied!
After installing it after 2 weeks the nob on top broke off . I like the company but this product failed unfortunately
Looks much better than the stock faucet, but at nearly three times the cost.... Easy to install, took longer to get the old one out than put this one in. Dropped a star because there were no instructions at all. Lots of extra parts, no directions on when to use/not use gaskets, specialty nuts, etc.
