Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Empire Faucets RV Bathroom Faucet

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Empire Faucet. It's gonna be an RV bathroom faucet with a single lever handle and it's a matte black. Now folks, this faucet will let you upgrade the bathroom faucet in your RV or camper to a single handle design. So if you have a dual handle, you can just put this guy in or maybe you're simply replacing a single handle with this different one for a different color or whatnot. Now again, it's got a nice single handle operation.

You can do hot, cold, spin it, you can turn the spout here. That'll give you different direction. You got plenty of room under here inside the sink bowl, with this raised spout, it's a high-rise spout and inside this guy is a built-in what they call a diamond ceramic disc cartridge, and it's virtually maintenance free, it's very durable, it's got long lasting disc inside there that create a nice watertight seal when the faucet is turned off. And it has a standard flow aerator inside the tip here and that's gonna make sure the water pressure needed is there to clean your hands a lot faster. It is a non metallic ABS plastic construction, again, with that nice matte black finish, it is a one hole installation, so you got one threaded main body coming through the bottom there.

You've got two stainless steel braided lines and it very simply screws on with the included plastic retainer ring and there is a gasket under there and also a metal washer. So that's how you would install it. You get the base here included and everything. I've just kinda loosely put these together and again, you simply spin that on there so it's nice and tight. Now before you put this in, you wanna make sure you use some tile and tub caulk that's sold separately.

And basically once you get that tight enough in place where you want it, you then connect your 1/2" male pipe threads hot and cold to this, the hot is marked in orange and then you'd be ready to go. Nice flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute. And as far as some dimensions, lemme pop a graphic up here for you real quick. The base is 2-1/4", 7-3/8" from the front of the aerator to the very back, 6-1/4" from the front of the aerator to the center of the main body, open handle is 7-1/2" from the base. Closed handle is 6-1/2" from the base.

The height from the countertop, I know that's not on the graphic, but the height from the countertop up to the bottom of the aerator is 4". So if you're worried about that clearance, it's 4". I went ahead and measure that earlier. Folks, it has a nice limited lifetime warranty. That's right, lifetime, so ever have any issues with it, just contact the manufacturer, they get you all fixed up in no time.
