Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we'll take a look at this Replacement 12 Volt Vacuum Pump for the Dometic VacuFlush RV Toilets. Now, this part will replace a damaged vacuum pump that's on your Dometic VacuFlush RV toilet system. Now, this vacuum pump creates the vacuum pressure to draw the waste to your holding tank after you flush. It does include the one duckbill and the valve adapter that screws in on this end. Now, the vacuum tank and the mounting hardware is sold separately.
That is not included with this. This part is made in the USA. It does have the nice 12 volt DC eight amp intermittent motor with the two pin connector. Total weight on this unit is only about seven pounds. And now, a few measurements on this.
The length from this end to this end is about 11 inches long, about seven inches wide, and about seven inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the Replacement 12 Volt Vacuum Pump for the Dometic VacuFlush RV Toilet..

complete with duckbill valves. easy install. works BUT it's very noisy. Banging noise that lasts a few seconds. This seems to be an issue with most of these. A chat board reveals that most complainants are about the banging noise.

Getting the pump was great and easy. I finally installed it and 2 months later started making a loud banging noise when on. I did buy another unit and it is still quiet.

Perfect fit replacement for original vacuum pump on my 2017 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 33D.
I love the customer service. Each time I called it was just like standing in front of the person on the other end of the call. Very polite and with a positive response. Even though it didn't come as I over nighted it she gave me such a relief when I called to inquire about it's status I'm surly not a mechanic but even I installed it myself so thank you so much not we can continue pit trip from idaho to Georgia.
The pump worked perfectly for my marine application. Ot even had new duckbill valves included.
The price was at least $500.00 less than comparable marine suppliers.

This was the right replacement vacuum pump for my 2014 Fleetwood Bounder 35K. Fleetwood does not make it easy to replace this pump but with two people you can get out the rear most compartment. The pump itself has worked great and I have not had any issues. Thank you.

Easily installed works great
A little hard to know what to rate this. The product itself is a 5, but etrailers handling of my order is a 1 or 2. My pump had stopped working and we live full time in the rv, so I ordered the pump to be shipped overnight. Etrailer did not ship it until the following morning, so it was delivered the second day instead of the first. This was unacceptable. Etrailer says they will reimburse the shipping, which is the only reason I give 3 stars, but that does not alleviate the smell and inconvenience I endured by their carelessness.

One year out and the pump is working fine. I am not able to create a vacuum that shuts the pump on, but I believe this is due to an air leak somewhere in the piping. So we turn the pump on when needed and turn it back off when done.

I have been using this vacuum pump for over a year without any problems. When I ordered this pump, etrailer provided all the information needed for the correct pump, fittings, and installation. I would not hesitate to use etrailer again, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, they even supplied me with help and information with other RV problems without purchasing the parts.
This pump replaced a much older model and was a perfect fit. The only thing that would have been better is to provide a pigtail of the electrical connector supplied. I like the connector but couldn't use it since my installed existing wiring does not use the plug supplied.
