Replacing a cracked or discolored skylight garnish means you need a proper fit without guesswork. This inner garnish fits standard 22" x 34" cutouts and diffuses harsh light, giving your ceiling a finished look and softer light inside.
Finding a replacement that lines up with an existing cutout can stall a repair, especially when exact specs are unclear. This garnish is built for a 22" x 34" cutout with a 25-1/2" x 37-3/4" flange, so it aligns with common opening sizes and provides full interior coverage. You can focus on matching the opening instead of chasing exact model specs.
After removing a skylight, exposed foam and wood around the opening can leave the interior looking unfinished. This garnish installs on the inside to cover those rough edges and sits flush against the ceiling. The result is a clean, finished look instead of visible construction materials.
Interior trim that sits too high can interfere with the skylight above or reduce usable space. With an approximate 5" bubble height, this garnish is shaped to nest without contacting the skylight when measurements are verified. You keep the intended clearance without unwanted contact points.
Direct light through a skylight can create glare and uneven brightness inside. The white polycarbonate construction diffuses incoming light as it passes through the garnish. This creates a more even light spread instead of harsh direct exposure.
Missing hardware during installation can slow things down if you're not prepared. This garnish installs using 1" screws, which are not included, and some people add butyl tape (sold separately) inside the flange. That tape can help block water from getting inside, while others skip it so any skylight leak shows up right away instead of being hidden. Having your materials ready and knowing how you want to seal it avoids delays once you start.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our specialty recreation inner garnish (hand banging) for your RV skylights in white. Now folks this is gonna be made to fit a 22" x 34" cutout. And it does have a 37 3/4" long by 25 1/2" long flange built over that to fit. So this will withstand lots of different pressure, it's a white polycarbonate. It's gonna diffuse light.
(fist banging) It's not gonna warp or crush or crack on you. It can stand up to sun exposure without cracking or discoloring over time, either. The bubble height as we call it, is about five inches tall, give or take. (sheet clanking) Now one thing that's not included that you're gonna need for installation is some small screws, you can get them locally, source them locally. Or we do sell a kit that includes some installation adhesive and sealant rather, sold separately here at etrailer.com.
If you need that, if you have any questions about anything else we carry here or this product feel free to reach out to us, we'd be more than happy to assist you. That's gonna wrap it up, I'm Steven have a good one.
