Plug cover is used when rewiring a new female plug on the end of your 30-amp RV or marine power cord. Gives the plug extra protection against the elements and a locking ring to keep the plug firmly in place.

  • Locking ring creates a secure, weatherproof connection with the threaded ring on your RV's power inlet
  • Easy installation - cut opening in cover to match diameter of the cord and put into place before wiring new plug

Plug cover replaces a damaged cover or locking ring on your RV or marine power cord. Installing it requires the cord's connector to be removed and rewired, whether you are using a new connector or the existing one. To install, remove the old cover and plug, feed the cord through the opening of the new cover, and wire the plug. The new cover then slides over the plug body.

This cover is going to encase your 30 AMP Twist Lock Female Connector. One that you see there on your screen on your RV power cord. And the lock and ring is going to create a secure weatherproof connection with the threaded ring on your RV's power inlet.

And this is going to be a pretty easy installation. You're just gonna cut the opening, and the cover to match the diameter of the cord, and then put it into place before wiring the new plug. I had purchased the RV 30 amp replacement, female end for my cord. This waterproof cover is a great addition and we certainly provide I waterproof condition that is needed.
I took it slow and made sure that I installed everything correctly. This waterproof boot does a great job and will seal out water.

It works fine however the user must remember never to toss this plug back onto the dock. The threaded ring will break if dropped on the dock. Unfortunately you cannot purchase the ring separately.
