Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco Mini PowerGrip replacement RV power cord plug. This 125-volt male mini PowerGrip plug is going to replace an old or damaged plug on your RV's 30-amp power cord. Simply cut off your existing plug and then hard wire this plug to the exposed wires. The replacement plug fits completely inside your RV's cord cable hatch so that way the door can be closed during travel. It's going to feature a nice sturdy handle here on the back side. It makes it very easy to get connected and to remove the plug from the power outlet.
When you're ready to get this connected to your old power cord, there's going to be some screws here that you'll have to remove and that's going to separate the two pieces of the plug so you got the front and then the back piece, those two separate. That's going to expose the connection points on the inside so you can get everything wired as needed. It's also going to have these two set screws right here. Those control that bar that you see running through there, so that way when you're wiring's connected into the plug here at the opening, you can tighten those down. It'll close that clamp and it'll create a nice tight fit and that's going to protect the connection points. It's going to secure the wiring inside there and it's really going to help keep the elements out so that way you don't have to worry about dirt and grime getting inside the plug.

Plug was easy to install. Take measurements if you have a stow away cable because the plug has a handle on it and just barely make it inside the door on the side of the RV.

The Camco Mini RV replacement plug is beneficial in my application. The small size of the plug allows it to fit easily into the storage compartment on the side of my RV. The geometry of the plug also better fits the power cord extensions that I have. Although the size says mini, this is a very well made plug and even has a handle on the back. So far, I am pleased with the purchase.
Male end of plug just fits inside tuck away on trailer as advertised. Could not find part in any local store. Thanks for having a wide array of products.
The Cable hatch is a perfect fit to my trailer. And easily installed.
Have to shove the plug into the orifice pretty pretty vigorously but it works just fine
