Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this MEC Threaded Rod for your RV propane tank hold-down. Now, we do carry two different lengths of this threaded rod. Right here on my table, I've got the 18-inch-long one, and then I also have the 24-inch-long one. So, everything's going to be the same except for the length, so whichever one is going to work best for you, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to that length and you can add that to your order.
So, this threaded rod is a replacement part that's for a towable RV propane tank hold-down system. And this is going to work with the tank pan, the support bar and the wing nut to keep the propane cylinders clamped down and secure while your RV is going down the road. So, this is mainly for those who already have a compatible propane tank mounting setup but has a rod that's missing or damaged, so instead of replacing the entire hold-down assembly, all you have to do is replace this individual component. So, again, this is just going to be for the threaded rod. It's not a complete propane tank hold-down kit.
The other components including the compatible support bar and the wing nut are sold separately, but we do carry them here at etrailer and you see the part numbers there. And again, if you need one of those as well, just take that part number and input it into our search field and it'll take you to those items. And that support bar and the wing nut kit will work with either the 18-inch-long one or the 24-inch-long one. So, while we're here and while I got the two different ones here on my table, just wanted to confirm the measurement with you. So, again, we see that this is going to be right about 24 inches, and this is going to be right at about 18 inches.
